Part 13;

Satya smiled with tears by seeing all her children having breakfast happily while teasing each other. She thought only Dev’s family is missing from picture and consoled herself that they also will join very soon. Her eyes went on Chitra .. she felt sad first but felt proud by remembering her decision and how yesterday she managed the situation .she is happy that Chitra stood for her brother and herself too.

Chitra home.. on engagement day:

All arrangements done and Mehta family is waiting for raichands. As promised to dev , Vikram arranged it as an intimate affair . Vikram smirked at the agitated Chitra and went towards Amba leaving her. Amba is all ready for engaged to dev . She is beaming happily as she is confident that dev will never disappoint chitra . She smirked internally by seeing Satya at her door step but she didn’t budged and behaved as she didn’t noticed.

Chitra ran to door and invited raichands but to her displeasure only Satya , Priya and simmi arrived. Seeing her nervous Satya assured that dev and Abhi had an important deal and they will join in some time.

Vikram didn’t even greeted raichands and smirked at Chitra to instigate her against dev. She remembered Vikram’s words and felt bad.

Everyone is waiting for dev and pandit ji asked Chitra to bring bride and groom for Pooja.

Chitra is on the verge of cry but felt relaxed by seeing dev at entrance. She ran to dev and hugged him. Dev hugged and whispered .. bacha .. dekho main aagaya jaise maine kal tumhe bataya na main jaroor aaunga.. ha.. ab yeh rona chod do our yeh yaad rakh ki tum meri behan chitra ho.. chitra raichand .. meri behan chitra tho bahut strong haina….

Chitra nodded and wiped her tears…

Amba who saw dev smirked and laughed happily at her victory.. she felt relaxed with the thought that now the engagement will happen for sure…

She went towards pandit for puja.. but got confused as Chitra took dev to Vikram…

Chitra: Vikram Maine bataya na.. mere bhai mere liye jaroor aayega.. pehchana tumne.. yeh mere dev bhai.. our tumhe yaad bhi aaya hoga tum kya kya bakwas bol rahe the mere parivar ke baare mein.. ha.. bolo yaad aaya kuch…

Vikram fisted with anger but controlled himself as he know if he do something now dev won’t spare him…

Chitra smirked and said .. koi bath nahi main hi yad dilathi hu….

Mere parivar ko mera parva nahi hai.. mere bhai ko mujhse jyada khud ki jindagi important hai..

our meri parivaar selfish hai ki shadi ke baad mujhe bhool gaya hai unko mera koi bhi pareshani nahi dikhega.. main jithna bhi usse pyar karu vo mere baare mein nahi sochega.. yehi sab bol diya na tumne..

Amba shocked and surprised to see Chitra like that and went for damage control..

Amba: Chitra, tum bhi kya bol rahe ho.. Vikram tho pagal ho chuka hai mere bare mein jyada soch ke.. dekho .. puja ka muhurat ho raha hai.. pehle yeh ho jane do uske baad ham yeh sab bathein karenge our tum chahte tho Vikram raichands se mafi bhi mangega.. par ab puja ke liye chalte hai.. pls.. teri Amy mousi aaj finally tumhara bhabhi banne ja rahi hai.. tum bhi yehi chahti ho na.. mujhe pata hai.. chalo chalo.. and she went to pandit.. Dev started walk towards puja but Chitra stopped him before reaching Amba and said..

Bhai main BAs aapko aaj mere ghar aane keliye bol diya tha.. sagayi karne keliye nahi..our ab aap ko yeh sagayi bilkul bhi nahi karna padega .. our main yeh hone hi nahi dunga..

Vikram shouted chitra … and came to her but dev came in between them and warned Vikram to dare..

Chitra: bhai.. aap rukiye.. apni problem main khud handle karungi.

Dev walked back with smile and stood aside.

Vikram: Chitra yeh kya mazak hai.. aaj tak tumne zid kiya ki tumhari bhai our mere masi ka shadi hojaye ab bas sab kuch theek hone ja rahe hai tho tum yeh kya bol rahe ho…

Chitra: ha.. maine zid kiya .. kyonki mujhe laga ki tum our tumhari masi mujhse pyar karte hai.. par mujhe kya pata ab tak tum log bas pyar ka natak karte the.. our dhoka Kia hai.. hamare saath..

Vikram: chitra.. kya bakwas bol rahe ho tum?

Chitra: hmm.. pati nahi tho kya mere sath meri puri family hai.. mere bhai hai.. jo bhai mere liye jamin aasman ko ek karne ko bhi taiyar baithe the.. main hi pagal hu.. iss dhoke baaz ki baton mein aakar khud ke sath sath mere bhai ki khushi ko bhi aag lagane pe tuli huyi thi.. par ab nahi.. Vikram my lawyer will send divorce notice to you soon.. if you want to say anything say in court .. bhai… ma.. chaliye .. and she went without looking at them.

Dev smirked at shocked and raged Amba and Vikram.

Amba is vulnerable by this and went to dev and begged him to engage to her..she pleaded, threatened, cursed even ready to fall on dev feet.. but dev warned her to not touch him and said..

Galati mera hai Amba… main apne behan ki pyar mein pagal hogaya tha our tumhare our iss Vikram ke baare mein kisi se pucha bhi nahi bas.. shadi fix Kia.. he went to Chitra and held her hands and says sorry mera bacha.. galti mera hai.. our.. Dev: Chitra.. bacha.. bas … Rona nahi.. chalo ghar chalte hai..

Amba: came to dev and said like maniac…Dev main manta hu .. yeh sab maine Kia hai.. par main yeh sab tumhare pyar keliye Kia hain.. our pyar mein sab jaayaz hota haina.. tho yeh mera Gunah kaise hogaya ????

Dev: Amba.. tumne jo Kia na uska koi safai dene ka layak nahi ho tum.. pyar keliye kuch bhi karna jayaz hota hai.. par dusron ki zindagi ke saath nahi .. khair.. yeh sab tumhe nahi samajh mein aayega.. our aaj se tumse hamara rishta yehi se khatam hota hai.. it’s better if you don’t try to disturb Chitra again…

And all raichands left from there and Amba fall on her knees..

Satya came to senses by simmi pulling her pallu of sari. Simmi dragged Satya to dining table and dev looked at Satya and she nodded yes.

Dev: Priya… ma our main tumhare saamne ek proposal rakhna chahte hai.. agar tumhe pasand aaye tho tabhi haan kehna.. koi pressure nahi hai..

Priya nodded with confusion ..

Abhi: vah bhai.. mujhe nahi bataya aapne.. our ma ko sab pata hai.. ham teenon ek team hai na..

Satya: oye… mr. jealous raichand.. aaj se mai meri bahu ki party mein hu.. tum dono ke sath nahi..

Dev laughed at that…

Priya: thank you mummy ji.. par aaj se ham sab raichands ek sath hai .. koi teams nahi hai.. kyon chitra .. main sahi kaha na…

Chitra: absolutely bhabhi…

Dev: hmm.. wait .. pehle bath suno…

Priya… main our ma ne hamare company se ek fashion brand ko launch karne ka soch raha hai our uss ki puri jimmedari tumhein diya jaye..

Priya: bhaiaaab.. main fashion designing.. Maine mba Kia hai bhaisaab..

Dev: Priya.. Priya.. suno.. tumhara fashion sense bahut acha hai.. tum yeh kar sakte ho.. pehle tum yeh fashion brand ka kaam karo our sath mein office ka saara kaam seekh lo.. jab sahi vakt aayega our sahi project milega tab main jaroor vo project tumhe handover karoonga..

Yeh bas mera proposal hai .. ache se soch ke batana tumhara decision.. koi jaldi ya pressure nahi hai..

He patted her shoulder while assuring and went from there.

All dispersed to their rooms and dev is picking his things to go to office. Abhi entered to dev room with hesitation .

Dev: Abhi.. aao kya soch rahe ho..

Abhi: I am sorry bhai for my behaviour and Thank you for supporting Priya..

Dev: No.. Abhi .. you are absolutely right on your place and thank you for being with Vidhi .. even when I am not with her….. He smirked at Abhi and said tumhe kya laga tum donon ne milakar jo bhi Kia tha vo mujhe samajh nahi aayega..

Abhi bent his head down being embarrassed but dev said I am very happy for that abhi.. mere chote bhai hoke bhi bade bhai banke mere zindagi ke bare mein socha .. Thank you so much…. and hugged him.

Abhi: I am very happy for you and Vidhi bhai..

Dev: I am proud of you Abhi finally you understood your responsibility and for standing up for Priya…. Ha Abhi.. every wife expect husband’s support…

Abhi: ha bhai ab Jake mujhe samajh mein aaya ki baith ke bath karne se sare problems solve ho jayenge our yeh realisation mujhe vidhi ki vajah se hua hai bhaiya.. she never tried to know about my personal life still she made me understand how a relationship will works and motivated me to face my problems .so this credit goes to her bhai and I heard she helped Chitra too unknowingly ..…

dev nodded with smile..and lost in her thoughts..

Abhi: Thank you bhai for talking with maa and offering fashion brand work to Priya ..

Dev: Abhi I will try my best to convince ma and make Priya dreams true. But now it’s your responsibility to keep Priya and simmi happy .

Abhi nodded and left from there…

Dev remembered how he discussed about Priya with Satya and requested her to give a chance to Priya. He explained his plan of fashion brand to encourage Priya to not go in that dark path again and slowly they will introduce Priya to business circle and when Satya is pleased with Priya’s work then he will announce Priya also a partner in RGI.

Dev thought now everything is fine with his family and felt happy. He heard Abhi call him and both went to office…

They went early as usual and started to work. After some time Dev asked Sangeetha to casually sent Vidhi to his cabin…

Sangeeta: sir.. Vidhi is on a leave and ..

Abhi: came there at same time and ha bhai .. and you approved her leave .. I came to ask the same as I thought to meet her .

Dev felt unease after remembering vidhi’s engagement .. he totally forgot about that while planning fashion brand work and convincing Satya for that.

Abhi observed this and When Sangeetha left…. is everything fine between you two bhai.. I thought you both reconciled yesterday ….is she fine.. then why she took leave.. Abhi blabbered with worry..

Dev: Abhi.. relax.. everything fine and Vidhi is absolutely fine .. she had an important work so she took leave for today..

Abhi nodded and left from there…

Dev tried to focus on other things as when he return from Vidhi home he is worried for her and he couldn’t able to sleep for those few hours too with the thoughts of her engagement and decided to divert his focus and started to make arrangements for fashion brand work. He didn’t reacted infront of Vidhi and he is suppressing his displeasure to calm her and himself too but he is disturbed by her engagement news.

He paced in the room with an unknown heavy feeling .. He thought to call and talk with her but stopped at last moment as he doesn’t want to create unnecessary trouble for her in that situation . He tried to compose himself by repeating to himself as Vidhi is not that weak and she can handle her problems on her own but still he felt something is not right.

He tried to divert his mind with the work and arranged a meeting with finance team for launching the new brand.

Vidhi just sat in room with no expression.. Bimla came to her and handed her the dress and accessories for engagement..

Bimla: Vidhi.. beta.. yeh tumhari jindagi hai.. jo bhi faisala lena chahte ho lelo par ek baar jaroor sochna ki kya ham sab khush rahenge uss faisale se….

Dekho aapki papa ko kithna khushi khushi se saari taiyari dekh rahe hai.. yeh sab dekh ke tumhare bachpan yaad aa raha hai.. bas aise hi tumhari sari mangein khushi se puri karte the tumhare papa..fir vo hua jo kisi ne nahi socha our sab kuch badal gaya tha uss ke baad…Ha beta…mujhe lagta hai .. shayad iss shadi ke baad tumhari vo purana papa hame vapas mil jayenge..tum dekh lena … Bimla said with smile and tears…Dekho.. kithna khushi se vo sara kaam kar rahe hai…our vo tumhe bhi khush dekhna chahta hai beta..tumhari khushi mein hi unki khushi hai .. bas ek baar iss bare mein sochna…baki sab tumhari marzi….tum taiyar ho jao .. aakash ke family ka aane ka vakt ho raha hai..

Vidhi didn’t reacted and just sat like a rock. She didn’t even spare a glance at dress and in thoughts.. she doesn’t know whether she is doing is right or wrong .. she don’t know what to choose… her happiness or her papa’s happiness.. after thinking all this she felt guilty that she is betraying dev and papa both..… since morning..she felt so low and is expecting a call or message from dev to gain the strength that she needed to handle this drama.... she felt nothing without him. She thought she will handle everything on her own but she felt someone had just cut her wings and tied her and she needed him for her rescue. He just left few hours before but she felt she missed him long.. like she needed him at her every breath.

Dev spent some time with discussing finance team but felt everything in his life seemed connected with Vidhi only.. how much he try to choose to ignore thinking about her at this moment but end up with discussing about her only… finance team stated all quotes but suggested him to take opinion from Vidhi as she handled the FM project in a very low budget and it’s her innovative thoughts which minted them profits. He sighed and nodded at them. The plan is ready and he can launch the brand anytime .. but he seemed not interested in anything at that time. He doesn’t know what is happening to him.. he know he shouldn’t hyper react as he trusts her .. even though he couldn’t able to deal with this new feelings.. He can’t control his restlessness and touched the dial button but cut the call after few rings..He throwed the phone on table and went out of the room to divert his mind.

Vidhi sighed and decided to get ready before Aakash arrives. She finished dressing and did minimal makeup . Bimla came there to check on Vidhi adored her simplicity and took off the nazar. She informed Vidhi that groom family arrived and engagement will start shortly.

Vidhi is nervous by listening this and thought to check her phone but Aakash made entry to vidhi’s room. She ignored to check the mobile and gave a akward smile to Aakash. He was doing his best to appear casual, arms crossed and leaned on door frame and suit unbuttoned but gazing her or say checking out her shamelessly with lust and his lips adorned a mischievous smile.

Vidhi felt uncomfortable, disgusting by seeing him scrutinising her physically and that smile she barely able to resist the urge to squirm. She just cover her lehenga dupatta more than needed and pulled her cloths to cover her visible parts. She ignored him voluntarily and went for touch up her hair and make up.

Aakash irritated by her ignorance but smirked by seeing her swaying of hips when she is walking to mirror.His eyes filled with lust and he went back of her and while gazing into mirror with a dangerous smile whispered near her ear…Vidhi baby you’ve gotten quite bold and brave since you’ve working …. But I like it… he said nodding his head and raising his brows…

Vidhi about to retort at his sarcasm but Bimla came to her rescue and called them to stage for ceremony..

Both left to stage but Vidhi felt disgusted to walk beside him seeing him touch her unnecessarily….

Bimla made their tilak and all rituals done and the next part is ring ceremony. When Aakash asked for her hand she showed her hand and replied that she already had his ring that he sent when the relationship is fixed… she lied that she is sentimental towards the ring … to avoid to wear the ring by Aakash.

Akash got angered again by her ignorance but composed and showed a big solitaire ring to make everyone gasp except Vidhi. Aakash smirked and said I think Vidhi..now you don’t have any objection .

Vidhi fumed and wished to swipe of his smirk by punching his nose but HP requested Vidhi to allow Aakash to make her wear ring without any drama. Vidhi got silenced by seeing hp happy but spitted fire through her eyes…

Aakash’s ego hurt by this and he pulled the old ring harshly and make her wear the new ring with force despite the tightness. Tears spilled in vidhi’s eyes not because of the physical pain .. but she felt miserable to steal this happy moment from dev. How much they deny or defend but the truth is she gave right on herself to other man .she felt guilty to do this but she had no choice. She closed her eyes with pain by thinking about Dev’s state of mind. How much casual dev may act but she know dev is uncomfortable with this engagement thing. He trusted her , he understood her but what she did? She cursed herself for her selfish move. She is in thoughts and got back to senses by the tight hug by Hp. Everyone congratulated them and HP is super happy by the happenings. By seeing her silent Aakash thought he kept her in place and smirked at his win but little did he know what future holds for him. Vidhi being disturbed with the happenings silently dispersed to her room. Bimla tried to stop but Aakash smirked and covered it as she is running to room being shy..

the ceremony over and everyone back to their works…Vidhi spent the remaining day in her room. All the time she is gloomy and cursing herself for this situation. She didn’t know what to do further and felt like loss of confidence. Bimla noticed vidhi’s struggle and understood her state as she knows that Vidhi loves someone else. She felt sad for her daughter but she couldn’t do anything to make her better. At night Bimla requested Vidhi to atleast eat a little as she has to fight a long battle. Bimla cursed herself for her helplessness but wished good for her daughter.

Dev who left office in afternoon roamed on roads and finally reached balghar at evening ,spent sometime with kids and find some peace but soon that also spoiled while the sudden gush of memories engulfing him. He got caught by the web of their memories in balghar and couldn’t stay there as after that. Upon reaching home he find his all family happy and feels better by their banter. Satya came to dev and thanked him for bringing Vidhi into their lives . She gave all credit of her children happiness to Vidhi and wished to thank her.A small smile adorned his lips and a sense of pride danced in him without his knowledge. He felt relaxed and went for freshen up… Dev felt peace after seeing his family spending time together and dining together. He also joined them for dinner and it went well with all laughters and funny banters. All dispersed to rooms by calling off the day and dev deceived a plan and went to visit Vidhi.

Vidhi didn’t felt any appetite and tried to sleep. She is taking turns unable to sleep thought to speak to dev. She searched for her phone and found the missed call from dev. She felt a pang inside of her and tried to call him… her eyes welled up by him not picking her repeated calls….

Dev mesmerised by seeing her gleaming under moonlight and in deep thoughts. He slowly went to the chath and gently touched her shoulder when he reached her side and shocked by her tight hug…

Vidhi felt miserable by dev not picking call tears started to flow and felt a touch at her shoulder and recognising that she turned and clutched his waist while he wrapped his arms around her shoulders, engulfing her instantly…. He ran his hand on her hair softly…. After a sinful pause what he felt.. whispered Vidhi slowly to stop her rant of sorry…He slowly lifted her chin, wiped her tears and kissed on her forehead …she couldn’t able to see into his eyes, lowered her head while trying to come out of hug. She left his waist but dev didn’t let her leave and entwined their hands. She felt the warmth of his lips pressing against her bandaged ring finger, lingering there for several seconds.she welled up as her heart flutters with his care and the warmth of his palms clasping on either sides of her face.

She about to say sorry again looking into his eyes but dev kept his finger on her lips and hugged her. Years of loneliness , years of solitude had all come crashing down the moment when they found each other and become one. Both hearts felt relaxed in each other embrace and dev is the first one come out from hug and said oh god.. Vidhi yeh kya haal banaya hai tumne.. maine tho tumhe surprise Karna chahta tha .. par tum.. yeh rona, dhona very bad… mujhe yeh sab acha nahi lagta hai yaar tum chalo mere sath…and held her hand.

Vidhi: Dev.. dev.. kaha our iss vakt.. main kaise?

Dev: ssshh.. dheere..trust me jaldi vapas aa jayenge…

Both walked down and after a street dev showed her a bike. Vidhi is surprised to see that and dev said.. he purchased it from one of his driver and on driver’s name so no need to worry about it. He handed her the helmet and both left on the two wheeler…

The ride started more nervous and thrilling since a cool breeze blows past them , and they sat more close to each other.

Vidhi’s one hand

creeped up to his inner shoulder and her other hand wrapped his waist.

The posture made them think that there is nothing in between and both can feel each other . Eventhough they were intimate before that is nothing compared to this experience. Both are anxious yet not bothered about making distance . Dev initiated random talks to supress his anxiety but felt like increased even more by feeling her speak near his ear, her touch, the feel of her hairs which blowing with wind tinkling at his neck , her smiles at his lame jokes and her hot breath fanning on his neck. Dev felt like heaven by looking at her. He can feel vidhi’s crimson flushed face in the dark too while gazing at her through mirror . Vidhi can feel his piercing looks without looking at him and unable to hide her blush she slowly leaned on to dev shoulder. A sudden gush of cool breeze brushed past them and both shivered by feeling each other hugging like one skin. This blowed their sences and slowly both felt at peace in each others embrace after a long hard day.. Though it was romantic what they felt is not just the physical closeness , it’s the real closeness made them feeling alive again like their souls mended each other’s insecurities and deepest fears…..

After a few silent moments dev initiated the talks again and both shared their thoughts on random topics… This ride made them feel like they both know each other like all eternity. This short trip elevated their mood for good.Vidhi become more comfortable by passing time and a naughty idea popped up in her naughty brain. She about to lean close to his cheek dev told that they are near to the destination. A highly disappointed Vidhi about to move back but dev reduced the speed of the bike and tilted his head to her side resulting into Vidhi kissing on Dev’s cheek. Vidhi’s eyes widened with surprise. Dev smiles at her innocence and pulls her to front without stopping the bike.He pulled her from one side carefully and helped her sit front facing towards him. She felt shy by feeling the closeness of their upper bodies from front and his one arm held the handle and another wrapped around her waist to safeguard her. She felt herself press into himself at the most intimate part while resting her legs on his thighs and lowered her eyes with blush. Dev stopped the bike in between road as no chances of danger due to empty roads at midnight. He held her face in his hands and made her look at him. He slowly looking into her eyes pressed his lips on her making their hearts flutter with happiness…He is kissing her dangerously slow by teasing her. Vidhi felt mad by his softness and the weather is making her more frustrated… Vidhi couldn’t take his teasing fisted his hairs and pulled him to herself more… Dev who nibbling lazily at her lips slowly moved his hands from her cheeks to shoulders. He is making circles on her shoulder blades on top of the thin material . Vidhi shivered by his sweet torture becomes more horny and pulled the hairs at back of his ear. He hissed by the attack at his sensitive spot and Vidhi took the chance and parted his lips. She hungrily explored all inner corners of his mouth and sucked his tounge.

She never gave him chance to take control back and claimed all her rights. She is kissing him with mad rage like convincing herself that she belongs only to him. Dev understood her anguish and let her do what she wants. Dev who equally responded to her kiss and made her feel loved. He slowly calmed her down with his soft close pulls and kissed her passionately to loose her senses.slowly the kiss turned from soft pecks to passionate kiss and then turning into a fierce kiss fighting for dominance. Both kissed each other until it’s too much for them to handle yet they wanted more.. Dev who felt he could never have enough of her no matter how many times she got closer to him. Her eyes were closed and a smile of contentment was playing on her lips.

She opened her eyes and suddenly got aware of the surroundings… Her eyes welled up by the flashes of today’s events and closed her eyes instantly with shame and anger.

Dev touched her forehead with his and whispered Vidhi… pls calm down… you are not at fault..

Vidhi shaked her head and said with anger no, dev .. I am wrong.. I am freaking wrong and I made you feel helpless …..

Dev: Vidhi…listen to me… no need to be angry at your self.. now it’s over and we will move on from that..,

Vidhi: I am angry because I shouldn’t have allowed myself to resist all his nonsense , I am angry that whatever happened with you seems unfair and uncalled for… and I am angry because I feel like betrayed you and papa both … but trust me dev..I don’t want to.. Her body shakes with the force of her words. Dev hugged her tightly to stop her…. He patted her back and whispered sweet nothings until her muffils got subsided.

He slowly detached her and said I have never been happier than when I am with you….vidhi…

and trust me.. you are the one who brought the purpose and meaning back to my life…Vidhi….. Dev confessed honestly…

Dev felt her still gloomy and said .. ok .. I think I can find a priest at-least this hour and anyway temple will be there… I thought you deserve a grandiose , ritual, highly flower decorated big fat wedding type like a fairy tale wedding…. But what to do… no problem I can marry you today in someway , anyway i am way too ecstatic after our sweet and hot adventure in farm house…and winked at her…

She hitted on his chest with her tiny palms and blushed so deeply that she thought her veins would burst ….

Dev wrapped his arms around her shoulders and pressed her to himself. Her palms clutched his shirt sides and placed her head on his heart…her new safe and secure place….

This man!!! Her man is Incredible!!!!…... she pressed her lips at his heart with proud .
