Vidhi and Dev came back to their room after ensuring Chitra has settled down well.

Dev : I am so sorry Vidhi. Mein jaanta hoon Amba ka yahan rehna tumhe accha nahi lagraha hoga..woh

Saying so Vidhi went away giggling leaving Dev to do his office work

He went through all the files and checked his office accounts online thoroughly making note of every transaction that has taken place. He found many loopholes in the accounts, but was unable to pinpoint where exactly was the missing link. He was actually liberal when it came to the office expenses and it was mainly Yogesh and Kanika who looked after these accounts. Dev once again went through the list he made and one of the recent entries caught his attention. The 50 lakhs that was drawn in the name of Priya. But Vidhi mentioned only 25 lakhs, was it a mistake or did Priya hide about the other 25 lakhs. How would he clarify this with Priya without her being offended. While he was still pondering over the matter, Vidhi came and called him for lunch, so he went along leaving the thoughts of money for now.

At the dining table :

It was an awkward situation with an unwanted guest at their family table. Dev and Vidhi chose to act normal. Vidhi served everyone and took her seat beside Dev. He as usual waited for Vidhi to join and then served her first before eating. They both exchanged looks and smiled. This little interaction between Dev and Vidhi did not go unnoticed by Amba, who has now determined to insult Vidhi at any cost.

Amba : OMG itna oily khaana, mera poora diet kharaab ho jayega. Aur ye hai kya, maine to kabhi nahi dekha ise

Priya and Mausi fake laugh loudly as if it was the most funniest thing they have heard

Dev who had enough of the nonsense drama that waa going on budged in

Dev : Pehli baar jab Vidhi aapse mili use pata nahin tha ki aap kaun ho.. aur dusra vidhi ka khana mujhe kaafi pasand hain.. aap logon ko accha nahin laga to five star se mangwa lena.. waise bhi mujhe to five star se to dhaaba ka khaana mein hi taste dikhta hai

Amba got frustrated on hearing Dev siding with Vidhi. Just then Priya offered her another helping. Unable to show her anger on Vidhi she directs her frustration towards Priya.

Amba : Mujhe nahin khaana yeh sab.. agar tumhe pasand hai to tum khalo.. tumhara to apna personal gym trainer jo hai acche se exercises karake weight check mein rakhega.

Amba realising that she has spoken more than necessary, gets up and walks away saying she has some urgent work and will return at night, while Priya is hurt and rest just carry on without pushing the topic further. Dev looks intrigued by Amba's comments. After dinner, everyone retires to their rooms. Vidhi stays up clearing the kitchen and Dev stays along to help her. After sometime, Abhi comes there frustrated and stops seeing them.

Dev : Arre Abhi aao na.. kuch chahiye tha

Abhi : Nahin bhai woh.. haan actually paani ke liye aaya tha

Vidhi : Paani to room me maids ne rakha tha.. bhayya aap theek ho.. Ambaji ke baaton ka bura mat maaniye

Abhi : Kaise bura na maantha bhabhi... ab to poora duniya ko pata chal gaya hai ki mere wife ka affair hai

Dev : Abhi tum personal life or office ko lekar bahut pareshaan ho, iss liye maine ye baat tumse pehle nahin kiya.. socha tumhara gussa thoda shhant hone doon... kya tumne Priya se baat kiya hai.. uska jo bhi explanation hai tumne suna kya?

Dev began putting two and two together and realised that all the mishappenings may be the Dubai issues, Priya's issue, fraud with money started happening around the time of his marriage. Then he recollected Amba's open warning to all of them

Priya was shocked that Vidhi went to this extent to save her. She thought that Vidhi may be actually genuine while trying to help her and felt guilty for the way she always snubbed her.

Dev thought about the situation for a while and finally spoke

Everyone look at each other and get determined to stay together through the crisis to bring their family out of it.

Part 3 :

The next day, it was a normal breakfast and as per the plan all four of them do not show any signs of reconcilement and just carry on with cold faces. Amba looks pleased with the proceedings. Later on when she passes by Dev and Vidhi's room casually, she hears them arguing

Dev : Vidhi please main tumhe har roj to cover nahi kar sakta na, hamare ghar waalon ko yeh sab Indian cheezein pasand nahin hai, tum cooking ko chod do aur apna mba par dhyaan do

Vidhi : Aap yeh kehna chahthe hai ki mai aapke standard ko match nahi kar sakti, jab se shaadi huyi hai tabse main ye dekh rahi hoon meri koi baat aapko accha nahi lagta

Dev : Aisa koi baat nahi hai, main bas yeh kehraha hoon ki tum ye ghar ke mamloom me zyaada interfere na karo

Vidhi : Interfere..ab mere pyaar ko aap interfere keh rahe hai

Vidhi starts crying. Dev looks exasperated.

Dev : Vidhi tum kaise expect kar sakti ho ki tumhara har ek baat gharwale maanjaye. Thoda mature bano please

Vidhi : Ab aap yeh keh rahe hai ki main immature hoon kyun ki main choti hoon to mujhe kuch kehne ka haq nahi hai

Dev : Vidhi woh

Dev's phone rings and he leaves alone an upset Vidhi and goes away saying he has to go for an important meeting. Amba immediately hides herself as Dev walks out of his room grumbling something about wives being a handful. Amba peeps into the room and is quite ecstatic seeing Vidhi being emotional and helpless and goes away to her room. Seeing her going away Dev quietly tiptoes back into his room and sees Vidhi still being in her 'character'. He smiles to himself and goes slowly and hugs her from behind and covers Vidhi's mouth immediately with one hand as she was about to shout in fear.

Dev : Main hi hoon tumhara pati parmeshwar. Dekha, tumne mera touch ko pehchaana hi nahi, hame iss maamle me zyaada practice karna chahiye.

Vidhi playfully hits him on the hand covering her mouth and he takes away his hand from her mouth only to encircle her waist and bring her into a tight hug. He snuggles closer into her and rests his chin on her shoulder.

Vidhi : Aap bhi na.. aap baahar gaye the to maine thodi na expect kiya ki aap wapas aaoge ab itne saare daant dene ke baad

Saying so Vidhi made cute annoyed face.

Dev : Ehh... mere drama queen.. woh sab drama tha tumhe bhi to pata hai...hamara vip audience chali gayi hai.. ab asli wali romance time hai

Vidhi : Chodiye jo bhi baatein aapke mann mein hai woh sab aapne drama ke naam par kehdiya.. hmph

Dev looks shocked into Vidhi's face, she is now unable to control her laughter and pulls his cheeks fondly

Vidhi : Dekha mujhe bhi shock dena aata hain

Dev : Ab iss ke liye to tumhe punishment milega

Dev gives a wicked smile and starts tickling her. Vidhi tries to run away laughing but he is too fast for her. He grabs her and pulls her towards him and captures her lips with his. He kisses her eagerly. Dev has one of his hands on her waist and he brings his other one to the crook of her neck. He tilts her head and further deepens the kiss. She supports her hands on his chest for balance and allows her man's passion to take over her senses. His hand reaches the back of her head and slowly extends her neck. He leaves her lips only to kiss her chin and all along her neck line. This was creating ripples of emotions in her and her hands slowly reached the back of his neck. For the first time she has taken an initiative and pulled him towards her, while reaching for his lips with hers. This leaves Dev pleasantly surprised but he does not show it as to not let Vidhi lose her boldness and allows her to lead. She starts kissing him slowly and closes her eyes. As much as he wanted to take further steps, he also wanted Vidhi to lead on making her equally comfortable and having her own share of pleasue in their romantic journey, so he let her make moves of her own. She continues to kiss him slowly and her hands cup his face and bends his face to finally kiss his forehead. They both look into each others eyes and hug it out to calm oneselves.

Dev : That was.. that was ..

Vidhi : Beautiful

Dev : Humein kuch waqt akele mein bitana hai vidhi. It will be difficult amidst this chaos par main kuch plan karta hoon

Vidhi smiles shyly and nods her head in approval. Dev finally bids her goodbye and leaves for office not before mentally preparing himself to focus on other necessary stuff that needs his attention, though his mind is betraying him with entirely different thoughts of his very beautiful and dare he say bold wife.

Dev tries to find out as many loopholes in accounts as he can with help from Abhi. Yogesh being on leave has given them freedom to do so without fear of their plan being exposed. They return home and meet Priya in the hall and learn that Satya and Chitra have gone to get and X ray and Amba was also off to somewhere and has not returned yet. Dev thinks of this as an opportunity to get any clue and asks Priya to alert him if Amba comes back, while he goes into the guest room to search her belongings. Priya who was sitting in the hall keeping a check on the door was suddenly distracted when Simmi calls her urgently. Not wanting to spoil her daughter's mood, she goes along with her. Dev being smarter enough searches her things and replaces everything as they were left. He now reaches for the wardrobe drawers and while he was at his searching spree, he hears a voice calling him out " Dev ", Amba's voice.

You should send this to NUKSH Writers because now a days they are not able to connect the dots which they have served here and there and the way the characterisation have went low keeps me much irritated. But you perfectly wrote the perspective of each and every character in a good way,in fact this is much better than what we are seeing now a days. I loved this chapter.
