gangubai is right. Ammaji did get sheila whipped by Dharamveer.
Jhanvi was not willing to go this far and she was still not sure..Ammaji her self told Jhanvi to go ahead because Ammaji knew that Rana was testing Jhanvi and Ammaji is also aware of Jhanvi's motives and long term goals.
In terms of Surya. Although he did not say or do anything..it was clear what he thought of the situation. I mean he did not show even a slight sign of aggression nor anger when Ammaji spoke out or when Vikram came yelling. Surya will not speak against his father in public..not yet anyway.
Lastly, Vikram + Diya and Shaurya's story is wayy in the future. It will take Diya some time to even think about Vikram in that way.
There is always going to be people who are unsatisfied with the content or twist and turns in the show. Some people like Surya and Jhanvi together some won't...some will dislike Diya and Shaurya together some would love them others will be happy with Vikram coming in..and some will hate the entire concept of the show, while some will be more than happy to see such issues shown.
