Colors to honour artists with their Golden Petal Awards on the basis of audience votes

This new year,Colors is planning to turn over a new leaf,or should we say a new petal,with the introduction of special peoples choice awards The Colors Golden Petal Awards to recognise outstanding talent and contribution to the channels success in a short span of about three years.These awards have been conceptualised to felicitate those individuals who have made their characters endearing,meaningful and relatable to everyone.And its the viewers who will choose their favourite characters.The channel wants to make this celebration of excellence a peoples choice initiative because they believe that no one knows Anandi,Tapasya,Ammaji,Phulwa,Simar and other characters better than the viewers who on a daily basis,invest a substantial amount of time and emotions in following these stories.There are 16 categories,from Lokpriya Jodi to Lokpriya Family to Anubhavi Personality among others.Voting is on and will continue till November 19.
