"Jhanvi..." Surya screamed aloud gaining back some consciousness. Everyone had sigh of relief as he was still alive. By this time Karan was back to temple. Jhanvi rushed outside to meet doctor. "Karan, doctor kaha hain?" Avatar asked. Karan was silent. Ammaji also asked him same. "Ammaji, koi doctor nahi mila! Koi humein madat karane ke liye tayar nahi hua." Karan replied helplessly. Jhanvi lost her hopes. Ammaji got angry on Karan, "Tune bataya hota ki Rana Rantej ke bte ko goli lagi hain. To koi bhi aa jaata. Yeh choriya bhi usse aspatal lejane ke bajaye yaha leke aa gayi. Arey kamse kam koi usse koi madad toh mil jaati". There was nothing Diya and Jhanvi could think of when they saw shot Surya. And they brought Surya to temple rather than rushing to any hospital. "Ammaji ab kya hoga?", Chanda asked. "Ek kaam karate hain, usse abhi hospital leke chalate hain", Karan replied. "Lekin Surya ki haalath bahut nazuk hain, kuchh bhi ho sakta hain", Santosh added. Everyone was sharing their views, what needs to be done. But Jhanvi has no words to say. Her mind was so senseless to come out of zombie state. Ammaji was thinking solution for this problem. She put glance on Jhanvi and tried to read her mind. To her surprise, she read fear on Jhanvi's face. "Why that's for?", Ammaji was confused. "Is she afraid of losing something?" Ammaji was thinking. But there is nothing Jhanvi could lose here. This marriage was nothing but mere torture on her.
Ammaji thought for a while and said "Ek tarika hain mere paas!" She walked up to her bed and get pointed knife which was hidden beneath her pillow. Jhanvi was scared from top to bottom. "What Ammaji is trying to do?" her body got cold shiver thinking about this. Ammaji tried to move inside holding knife in her hand and everyone was surprised. "Ammaji yeh kya kar rahi hain aap? Aap... Aap Surya ko kuchh nahi karegi". Jhanvi said in trembling voice stopping Ammaji. "Bawali ho gayi hain!". Ammaji shouted on Jhanvi. "Agar goli nahi nikali na usake andar se, to saara zehar fail jaayega! Tab ke karegi tu?" Jhanvi had sigh of relief that Ammaji took out knife to save Surya and not to harm him. Ammaji turned and asked Chanda and Santosh to get boiled water. Ammaji walked inside room where Surya was still lying in sub-conscious mood. Everyone else joined Ammaji there too.
Ammaji asked Karan to heat the knife till it turns redAmmaji asked Santosh, "Behosh hain chora?". "Nahi hosh main aaya hain!". Ammaji just nodded and walked near to Surya. "Bas thoda dard bardasht kar le. Ek baar yeh dard se nikal gaya to sab thik ho jaayega", Ammaji murmured this lines to Surya. . Jhanvi was confusingly looking at Ammaji what she is trying to do. She also walked near to Surya and asked Ammaji what she is trying to do. Ammaji walked upto Jhanvi and confront her, "Kuchh nahi hoga usse! Apana hausala and prarthana dono buland rakhana. Jo tu ye karegi to maut ke darawaje se bhi laut aayega woh", Ammaji's word give bit courage to Jhanvi. But she was still confused with what's happening to her. What made Ammaji saying such words to her? Ammaji asked Diya and Tanisha to take Mausam out and wait with Avatar.
Karan returned in few minutes heating knife adequate, as instructed by Ammaji. Ammaji asked Karan to hold one hand of Surya and asked Jhanvi to hold another. Ammaji took heated knife in her hand. Jhanvi was looking amusingly what Ammaji is going to do. Ammaji closed her eyes for few seconds and removed a cotton piece from Surya's wound. Jhanvi sensed this time what Ammaji is trying to do. Her root was jolted. A thought of he is going through such pain, made her weak inside. "Ammaji... Koi aur tareeka nahi hain. Surya hosh main hain ab tak" she asked in frightened voice. "Dekh chori, saare tareeke to kar liye na! Ab chore ko zinda dekhana chahati hain toh yahi karna padega", Ammaji replied in firmed tone. Jhanvi's all words were choked at throat only. Finally Ammaji took deep breath and plunge that heated knife on Surya's wound.
Surya left nothing but in sheer pain after that. He was trying move in his subconscious state to get rid of that pain. Ammaji asked Karan and Jhanvi to hold him tightly else it will hurt him more. Karan quickly pressed Surya's one hand to control pain he is going through. Jhanvi feared! What about principle he has. What if he ever remembers that I touched him? Will he forgive himself after that? Jhanvi confusingly took her hand back before touching him. But who has control over fate and emotions! Even she refused; Surya caught Jhanvi's hand tightly to get support in that moment. He held up her palm tightly. More Ammaji was trying to take bullet out of his body, more Surya ended up in holding Jhanvi for support. Jhanvi too understand delicacy of that moment, she moved forward and held his hand tightly assuring she is there for him...
