Jhanvi's hand trembled while touching him. She refused to accept situation she is standing with. She never thought she will ever pray to see the man alive, whom she hated to core. Why he did this? Is it another trap? Why he will do such things and that too for me? She was standing in between battle of her heart and mind. Her heart refused to listen to her mind and her mind to heart" She never juggled with such dilemma before. "Jhanvi, pakado isse kam se khun to ruka rahega" Santosh's word made her come back to senses. She looked around with puzzled expression on her face. Chanda and Tanisha was busy preparing medicine as guided by Pandit. Diya was holding little Mausam trying to calm her down. Santosh was trying hard to make him conscious. Ammaji and Avatar was sitting outside only. Karan was gone to call doctor. And Jhanvi was sitting like rock there still feared to touch him. "Jhanvi, pakado isse". Santosh shouted again and handed over cotton to Jhanvi. She rushed to check if Karan has arrived. He badly needed medical treatment.
Jhanvi was now sitting alone near to him. Her eye sight got blurred when she removed cotton piece that was filled with blood only. She managed to put another cotton piece somehow on his wound. She held that tightly to avoid any further blood flow. This time she looked at his face. There was no movement. She could only noticed sweat drops on his forehead. Unknowingly she extended her hand to wipe them. Her palm touched his few hair strand and soft skin near to cheek. But he didn't move a bit. This time Jhanvi lost her control. First time she felt crying loud her heart never before. "Surya, why did you do this? Why did you take a bullet and that too for me? Why did you put your life in danger for a girl you hate most?" she had so many questions to ask. But the person who could give answer to her was standing on line of death and life. Meanwhile Santosh came in again, "Karan jald hi aa jaayega", Santosh added sympathetic word to Jhanvi. But Jhanvi was dumb to hear them as well.
Santosh was worried more. Whatever the case would be, Surya was husband of Jhanvi for them. If something happens to him. Jhanvi would be considered as widow. She knew very well probably this fact would less impact girl like Jhanvi. There was no husband-wife relationship between Surya and Jhanvi. But she was thankful to Surya when he saved Karan from false murder case. If Surya would have not supported them Karan would have not got rescued. She didn't want to understand whether it was another trap. She was probably blind mother there for whom Surya was no less than god that time. Coming out of her thoughts, Santosh checked Surya and she just left in shock. "Jhanvi, isaka badan thanda pad raha hain...", she exclaimed and everyone got more worried.
Surya was lying there in unconscious state only. His mind was travelling through all past events of his life, his childhood, his family, his bad memories about women, his oath, his encounter with Jhanvi and his marriage with Jhanvi. There was absolutely nothing to mesmerize about his marriage. He just got married with her to seek revenge from her. Though he hated every woman to core, he allowed Jhanvi to enter in his life to teach her lesson for lifetime. But slowly his life started changing when he realized how wrong he was. He realized how his father misguided him to be a god in Veerpur. That's where his battle with his own started. He was confused to decide between what is right and what is wrong. That time he simply listened to his heart and did what he would have never done. Lately he became fond of Jhanvi. He admired her courage. But he was still in refusal mode that there is more than admiration from his end. Only this was case where he refused to accept what his heart was telling him. "This can't be love! I can never love her!" he used to shut up his heart with this line. But he used to be equally restless whenever Jhanvi used to stick in any problem.
