The court gives the prosecutor an hour's time to bring his witness to court.
Chanda is at home, weeping. The mother in her wants to go to court to support her son but the wife in her does not want to disobey her husband. She is a dilemma when Santosh comes in with the pooja ki thali. She consoles her and advices Chanda to have faith in the Lord as whatever he does will be for the good. Chanda pleads with Santosh to request Avtar, on her behalf, to accompany her to court. Santosh is hesitant and tells her that it is better for them not to go to court as the crime Rajveer is accused of is such that people will talk about it and Chanda will not be able to take it. Chanda get angry and tells her that Rajveer is the son of the house, unlike Karan, and Rajveer's honour is the house's honour. She accuses Santosh of not loving Rajveer enough. Santosh is hurt and tells Chanda that if she wants her to talk to Avtar, she will. Chanda realizes her mistake and pleads for forgiveness. She asks Santosh to think of her as her younger sister and forgive her. Santosh understands.
Despite Shaurya and Dia's protests, Amba asks Shaurya to escort Dia to court as it is very important for her to reach court on time. After they leave, Amba and Alak Chand fight with the goons. Just when they turn to leave, a goon hits Amba on the head with a sword. Alak screams and Amba staggers.
People in court are tensed as they wait for the hour to pass. Ammaji advice Rajveer not to panic as the verdict will be in their favour. Adi asks Gajender where Karan and Dia are and Gajender makes light of the situation and says that they are probably stuck in a traffic jam. Jhanvi tries her mother's mobile but is not able to reach her. Joginder smirks at Jhanvi's tension.
Santosh, Avatar and Chanda rush to court. There is still no sign of Dia and Avtar asks Ammaji where Karan and Dia are. Ammaji tries to avoid the question and tells him that they may be stuck in a traffic jam.
Karan regains his consciousness in a hospital and cries out for Dia. Despite the doctor's protests, he runs away from the hospital to look for his sister.
Dia and Shaurya escape on a motor bike with the goons following them. With some difficulty, they manage to escape.
Just as the judge is about to pass the verdict, Shaurya comes in with Dia. Jhanvi is relieved and Ammaji&co are shocked. Dia is called onto the witness box.
Dia takes the oath and just as she is about to narrate to the judge whatever happened, she recalls Ammaji saying that Rajveer is the son of the house and her grandson. Dia remembers what Ammaji said about putting one's family before the world whether for the good or bad. She recalls Rajveer begging her to give him an opportunity to reform himself and Chanda's hurt words when she asked her why she wants to separate her son from her. She then remembers Jhanvi saying to her that if she does not testify in court, her crime will be equivalent to that of Rajveer's. Dia tells the judge all that she saw. All the while Ammaji glares at her.
PRECAP- Jhanvi warns Ammaji that if something happens to her mother, she'll have to face dire consequences. Ammaji gets angry and raises her hand to slap her. Jhanvi catches hold of her hand thus preventing Ammaji from slapping her.
