Ammaji asks Rajveer to show Kaajal around and Chanda goes up to Santosh and tells her that she saw Amba. Santosh is shocked and does not believe her. Chanda insists that the woman she saw was Amba. Santosh asks her to keep quite as the surroundings are not apt for such conversation.
Ammaji introduces Tanisha's family to the family goldsmith and asks Tanisha's mother to select a jewelry set. The goldsmith shows them very expensive jewelry and Tanisha's mother looks uncomfortable. Ammaji asks her to choose a jewelry that is very grand and expensive. She says that the guests who have been invited are very important people and that the Sanghwans should not face embarrassment in front of them. Looking at the hesitation on Tanisha's mother's face, Joginder asks Yashpal to bring the money. Joginder tells Tanisha's family not to worry about the expenses as they are aware of their spending capacity. Tanisha, who is an onlooker, feels bad for her parents. She goes up to Ammaji and thanks her for offering to pay for the wedding. She continues that her mother does not require such expensive jewelry; Ammaji tells her that it may not be important for her but it is important for them that Adi's wife's mother wears expensive jewelry as the guests who have been invited are very important people. Tanisha continues that her family may not be able to marry her off as grandly as Ammaji but she would be happy only if her parents do the spending for her marriage. Tanisha's parents are taken aback and they apologize to Ammaji for her behaviour. Adi too chides her for talking rudely to Ammaji. Tanisha's family excuse themselves to do the wedding preparations. Ammaji advices Tanisha not to have so much fire within her so that one day the fire itself ends up consuming her.
Rajveer shows Kaajal his room and tries to flirt with her but she handles him in a brusque manner.
Adi is having a nightcap with his friends when Tanisha interrupts him. She takes him aside and tells him that just like how he loves and respects his father, she too loves and respects her parents and cannot tolerate their insult. She is angry at Adi for supporting his family when they were trying to insult her family. Adi tries to pooh-pooh her and points out that when Ammaji has accepted her as the daughter in law, there is no reason for Ammaji to insult her parents. He tries to hug her but she pushes him away.
The next morning, Tanisha goes up to Adi's room with coffee. She tries to wake him up, but in vain. Just then Adi's mobile rings and the person at the other end confirms that their return tickets to America have been cancelled. Tanisha is shocked and asks the man if Adi asked him to cancel the tickets himself. When the man answers in the affirmative, Tanisha gets very upset and wonders why Adi did not think it important to tell her about it. She feels betrayed and feels that if Adi has hidden this from her, there may be other things too that he has not told her about.
Tanisha goes up to her parents and tells them that she cannot tolerate their humiliation at the hands of Ammaji&co anymore. She also tells them that Adi has cancelled their return tickets to America. Her parents are shocked.
PRECAP- Yashpal shows Ammaji the newspaper which states that a youth has been killed in a road accident. There is a picture of Ronnie, the guy who misbehaved with Tanisha and hit Adi, below the captions, Ammaji smirks and tells Yashpal that at least the boy's wishes of appearing in the newspapers have been fulfilled.
