Ammaji says to Tanisha that if she gets married to Adi she would have to accept the traditions and customs of the household. She says that she doesn't want to argue about this anymore. Tanisha requests Ammaji to accept her the way she is, and not force her to accept the Indian way of life. She asks Ammaji if she would wear western clothes if she goes to America. Joginder gets angry but Ammaji stops him from saying anything. She replies that she wouldn't let even her asthi go to a place where her views are not respected. Gajender asks Dia to take Tanisha in as they have something important to discuss amongst themselves. Gajender tells Ammaji that they should now talk to Tanisha's father as the marriage has been fixed. Gajender and Adi go to make the call. Ammaji is pensive and tells Joginder that they can get married if they want to but she will not allow them to go back to America.
Dia happily congratulates Tanisha and calls her bhabi. Tanisha asks her not to call her bhabi as it makes her feel too old and she also points out that she's not much older than Dia is.. She says that their relationship should be that of friends and not that of sisters-in-law. Dia says that their relationship would no doubt be that of friends but she would have to call her bhabi since Tanisha would be her elder brother's wife. They talk of other things and Dia asks Tanisha how she and Adi met. She replies that they met in a college festival. She asks Dia if she has someone special in her life. Before Dia can answer, Santosh comes into the room with a bowl of til ke laado and she says that the daughters of the house do not have the permission to have a love marriage. Tanisha says that love is a feeling and it happens without one's knowledge. Santosh pushes her own thoughts aside and offers her the laddos.
Tanisha is trying to make somosas for Adi. She succeeds in over frying them and Chanda and Santosh pull her leg!
Dia and Jhanvi meet up at college and Jhanvi asks Dia why she is looking happy. Dia replies it is because of an RJ, Shaurya, who conducts a programme on a radio station. She asks Jhanvi if she has heard of the RJ. Jhanvi replies that she gets up too late to catch any programme on radio. Dia gushes about him endlessly and says that he is not only amusing, but that he also has a good voice.
Just then Dia spots Rajveer and hides behind a wall. Jhanvi is surprised and asks her why she is hiding. Dia replies that if Rajveer sees them together, he would exaggerate things and report to Ammaji. She says that if Ammaji comes to know that she is hanging around with Jhanvi, she would never let her set foot in college, ever. Jhanvi assures her that nothing of that sort would happen. She asks her to follow her at a distance and that they would meet up at the canteen.
When Dia starts to follow Jhanvi, she hears the same whistle that she heard the previous day while they were having chaat. Dia asks Jhanvi about it and when the two look around, they spot a geekish looking guy with oversized glasses whistling the same tune and Jhanvi burst out laughing. Dia does not believe that it is that same guy whom she heard the previous day.
The two proceed towards the canteen and Jhanvi asks Dia to reserve a place while she goes and gets them something to eat.
Dia reserves a place for them and occupies a chair worrying all the while about what would happen if Rajveer sees them together. Jhanvi comes and occupies her place and Dia asks her to strike off her name from the college fest. She says that she cannot participate because of fear of Ammaji.
Shaurya, who is sitting with his back facing the girls, hears this,and he decides to prevent Dia from withdrawing her name from the fest. He tells his friends to arrange for a party because he is sure that they would win the inter-college fest. He says if people participate half-heartedly, then his success is guaranteed. He also asks his friends to arrange for an ambulance in case some people have sudden heart-attacks due to stage fright. This angers Dia and she turns to face the guy.
PRECAP- Joginder tells Ammaji that they have very little time in their hands as 10days are not sufficient. Ammaji assures him that 10days are more than enough and things will happen the way she wants them to.
