Gajender asks Adi to stop smiling and tell what the matter is.Adi gestures for the girl to come in and she is welcomed with surprised and shocked looks. Ammaji asks her to wait causing some tension in the atmosphere. She then says that since the girl has come home for the first time, she must be welcomed properly. Everyone heaves a sigh of relief. Adi introduces everyone to Tanisha with Rajveer checking her out. Adi says that Tanisha has just returned from America. He says that she had plans of coming with him to attend Dia's wedding but couldn't because she dint get the tickets. Gajender is relieved that she did not witness "the wedding". Ammaji asks Chanda to get the aarthi ki thali to welcome the girl..Adi nudges Tanisha and motions her to touch Ammaji's feet.She understands and proceeds to do so, making Ammaji very happy in the process, when her heel twists and she loses balance. Adi promptly holds her making Ammaji give them both funny looks.Ammaji instructs Yashpal to open the guest room for Tanisha.
Tanisha is unpacking in Adi's room. Adi comes and reminds her that she cannot stay with him in the same room as it is not considered appropriate in India for a girl and a guy to stay together before marriage. Tanisha is disappointed and expresses it when her eyes fall on Sunheri's picture. She exclaims at her beauty and enquires about her death. Adi evades the question and diverts her attention to other things. Chanda walks into the room only to find Adi and Tanisha embracing. An awkward silence follows after which Chanda becomes her usual comic self. She asks about Tanisha's preference for that day's dinner. Gajender comes into their room meanwhile and tries to impress Tanisha with his broken English.
Chanda goes into the kitchen giggling and reports to Santosh whatever had taken place in Adi's room. She talks about this and that making Santosh exclaim at Chanda's craziness.
Next morning, Ammaji and Adi are walking in the park and Adi is amazed and impressed at Ammaji's good health and her contacts in the park. He resolves to be fit like her all his life. Ammaji says that age is in the mind and a person is as old as he thinks himself to be. Adi is impressed by Ammaji's philosophy. He asks her about Tanisha and whether Ammaji likes her. Ammaji asks him for how long they are acquainted with each other to which he replies two and half years.
Meanwhile Ammaji finishes her walking and sits down on a bench and Adi offers to buy her the newspaper.
A thief snatches a lady's chain and runs with everyone shouting"chor".When he passes by Ammaji, she sticks out her leg thus tripping him. He points a knife at her after regaining his composure. Ammaji twists his hand and forces him to drop the knife saying that they use bigger knives at home to cut tomatoes. Ammaji snatches the chain from the thief and hands it over to its owner before advising her to keep the chain hidden in her duppata. Meanwhile the security guards are called for and the thief is taken away. Everyone is impressed at Ammaji's presence of mind and courage. Adi comes rushing to the spot and enquires if everything is alright.When the crowd disperses, he tells her that he has gotten to see the "Veerpur Ki Ammaji" after a long time. Ammaji tells him that she has left behind that woman and asks him not to remind her of the past.Adi, Yashpal and Ammaji return home.
At Amba's residence, Jhanvi has just finished her workout when Amba enters her room. Jhanvi says that she is no mood to go to college that day and she offers to help her mother out instead. Amba is amused at her sudden decision to help. Alak Chand comes in with the pooja ki thaali and says that too much love spoil kids as is the case with Jhanvi. Amba smiles and asks her to help her out in the wedding planning of one her clients who wishes to have his marriage in a unique fashion. Jhanvi spots her boxing gloves and suggests that they should make the mantap resemble a boxing ring since husbands and wives keep fighting after marriage. Alak Chand is shocked and Amba points out that if the bridegroom is to wear gloves how then would he apply sindoor on the bride's forehead. The trio burst out laughing at the thought.
Dia, Chanda and Santosh bring Tanisha to Dia's room.Tanisha likes her room a lot and says that simplicity is the biggest asset of the room. She is having a look around when she spots Dia's imposition on the bulletin board. She is shocked and asks her if she has written it herself. Santosh, Chanda and Dia feel awkward and are at a loss for words.
