sia and jhoomar are getting sonali ready and sonali gives sia a mean look and asks her to get apayal fixed for her which sia does sadly.next raghav is gettin ready for the engagement with gajender and joginder.they go out look out for other arrangements and avatar comes into the room and tells raghav not to go ahead with the wedding.he says he understands raghav's feelings well as he had gone through it earlier because he had been afraid of ammaji.then he asks him not to loose the affection of a person like sia.raghav and sonali come down for the engagement.raghav all the time looks at sia on the sly.raghav puts the ring on sonali's finger.raghav tries to acts happy all the timebut keeps seeing sia to check her reaction.sia is intears he could clearly see that.when turn of sonali comes to put the ring on ragahav's finger then he removes the finger and show everybody that his two fingers are hurt and he has put a plaster on his two hurt fingers in the left hand.ammaji asks him what happened,hesays he has hurt himself so sonali puts the ring on the right hand.raghav sees again at sia to see how she is feeling but sia is wiping her tears when the ring is put on raghav's hands.
sonali sees all this and sees that raghav is all the time looking at sia.she is irritated at his behaviour.people are enjoying the party and they comment on how ammaji has brought a foreign educated rich beautiful bahu for raghav who will not be able adjust to the rules of the kasbah and will take raghav abroad.they sarcastically remark about what ammaji would do then.they also feel sad that sia has lost her husband and what would happen to her now.raghav and sonali take the blessing of all the elders in the house , raghav and avatar nod at each other about all the plan of not wearing the engagement ring in the right hand.the party over everybody leave and rangeeli and sunehri come to leave raghav and sonali to their room and raghav tells that he is not well and goes into his room and locks his door.sonali also goes into her room and is angry that raghav was all the time distracted during the engagement and was all the time seeing somebody else.she doudts that he was seeing sia and also doubts whether he still loves sia after the agreement for the marriage.she goes to his room to talk to raghav but from his window sese him pacing and then he remove the plaster from his hand .she clearly sees that he is not hurt.he also removes the enagement ring and puts it on the table.sonali is angry at this.end
PRECAP-jhoomar tells all the womenfolk that sonali has told ammaji tht she wants the marriage conducted as soon as possible that is day after tommorrow itself.hearing this sia is heart broken and all look at sia concerned
