Joginder is upset that Ammaji didn't trust him enough to tell him that she was alive while he mourned her death. She manages to cheer him up. Then she calls all the women and asks them to go buy plenty of fancy clothes, jewellery and other accessories so that they could all get ready for the upcoming jalsa. The women go back inside happily.
Jhumar asks Sia to get ready to go on a walk in the garden behind their haveli. When Sia refuses to go, Jhumar persists and convinces her. They go out together, only to find Raghav standing there. He claims that he didn't know they were coming and it was just a sheer coincidence that Sia showed up right when he was going for a walk himself! Jhumar chuckles at this obvious lie of his. Then he makes excuses and hints for Jhumar to leave them alone, which she does. As they start walking together she looks on and prays that they'll always stay by each other's side.
Raghav and Sia walk in the park (the location that they picked to shoot this scene was so beautiful!). She says that he doesn't have to do all this for her. He replies that a husband and wife can spend time together without needing some kind of a justification for it. She brings up the topic of Ammaji, but he asks her to forget all the serious talk and enjoy the scenery. They keep walking and reach a place from where the view is breathtakingly gorgeous. Sia marvels at it and Raghav tells her that he often comes there whenever he feels frustrated or lonely. He flirts with her by saying that although he's been there before, for some reason today the place looks more beautiful than ever. Both of them blush for a moment while their signature tune plays. Then he talks about whistling. She is surprised to know that he knows how to whistle. He points out that of course he does - she shouldn't let his innocent looking face fool her. She smiles and retorts that he doesn't exactly look innocent. She asks him to teach her how to whistle and when he does that, she makes an attempt too. That causes her wound to hurt and she flinches. He apologizes for doing this to her. As they walk back to the haveli she solemnly tells him that tomorrow is a special day. When he asks for an explanation, she reminds him that it would be the anniversary of their first meeting. He's surprised that she remembers the date. She quietly says that women tend to remember what they have memories and feelings attached to. After she walks ahead, he says that he's got feelings attached to it too, and this time they're real. Tonight he will confess his love to her and he's sure she will reciprocate his feelings. This time nobody can tear them apart.
They show a car moving around Veerpur and the person sitting inside it has a picture of Raghav. She asks the villagers about him and they direct her to the haveli.
Ammaji asks Jhumar to send Raghav to her room. A worried Jhumar wonders what to do, but she and Sheela manage to cover up for Raghav's absence by saying that he's asleep. Ammaji buys their story and the two of them breathe a sigh of relief.
Raghav practices his confession a couple of times in front of the mirror. Then he slips a sheet of paper through the slot under Sia's door. She picks it up, reads it and smiles. The note says "Let's meet after dinner - from Raghav"
