Raghav tries to warn Ammaji against running for the elections. It's too risky and will jeopardize her life. Ammaji points out that risks are inevitable if one wants to attain something as grand as this.
Sia tries to talk to Jhumar about Dheeraj, but she refuses to listen. Then Sia goes to Dheeraj's room and explains that she understands why Jhumar is turning him down. She's afraid of losing him. Life has thrown nothing but sorrows in her path, so even the slightest hint of happiness frightens her. If he wants to win her over, he'll have to make her see how true and pure his love is, and how he will always remain loyal to her.
Rangeeli wants to sleep with Avtar. She tries to entice him but he rebuffs her advances by saying that he belongs only to Chanda. A heated argument follows, after which she threatens to tell Ammaji that he refused to consummate their marriage. He retorts that in turn, he will inform Ammaji of all her shenanigans (I think he mentioned something about her taking drugs every day). Then, Ammaji will get rid of her and she'll lose the luxurious life she's been living. Sunehri eavesdrops on their conversation. She gleefully remarks that she had no idea these two don't share a physical relationship even after all these months of marriage. It defeats the whole purpose of Ammaji bringing her into the haveli. Rangeeli had better pack her bags because once Ammaji finds out, it won't be long before she is finally thrown out of the haveli!
Sunehri tells Ammaji that Aditya feels so lonely because he has no companion at home. She doesn't want him to play with the kids on the street because they're not a good influence on him. Ammaji smiles and asks her to solve this problem by having a baby brother for him! Sunehri says that she's right, but what about the woman she brought into the haveli to bear a son? She is still childless. The villagers have been gossiping about this, saying that even after another getting another bride for Avtar, there's no news of a son. Something must be wrong with the man himself! Ammaji gets worried. She decides to speak to Rangeeli right there and then, and asks Sunehri to come along.
A pissed off Rangeeli is venting to herself in her room. Ammaji enters with Sunehri and says that all the luxuries that are being showered on her are not for HER, but her womb. Unless she announces some positive news within the next two months, Ammaji will bring another wife for Avtar and Rangeeli will then be in the same league as Chanda. After she leaves the room, Sunehri taunts Rangeeli. She says, how can Rangeeli have a child when her husband can't stand being near her? Rangeeli denies it, but Sunehri smirks and points out that the next time she and Avtar talk, they need to make sure their windows are closed firmly. People can hear everything, you know. She knows all about their non-existent relationship! The episode ends on Rangeeli's face.
