Yesterday's epi spanned a good 50 minutes. Maybe the makers of NAIDL wanted to give us a Christmas special! It was a complete package because it had-
ROMANCE!
Jhoomar sees Dheeraj's drawing and asks him what this is all about.She tells him that she laughed and chatted with him only as a friend.But Dheeraj tells her solemnly that in the process of wiping her tears and making her laugh, he fell in love with her! He agrees that this relationship started as a friendship, but he wants to turn it into love. Jhoomar leaves the room in a huff without a word.
Raghav observes Sia from the broken balcony and smiles as she feeds the pigeons. To his dismay he sees that she is going back inside the house. He comes down to approach her but surprisingly she comes herself, carrying a bucket of clothes. Sia ignores him inspite of seeing him. Raghav stops her and tells her of his wish to speak to her in his room. Sia as usual refuses, saying that she has a lot of work to do. An angry Raghav exclaims why she always brushes him off. Sia says that she is a naukrani and has no business speaking with her malik. ( Trust sia to spoil a romantic scene!😡) Raghav begins to say that she is not a naukrani but his wife...but stops. Sia turns back in surprise and is happy. But the old feelings rush back and make her ponder. Raghav asks her y they can't go back to being friends and forget everything. Sia replies that it is easy for him to say this, coz it is she who has to lose her self respect and work as a naukrani. Raghav is at a loss for words and sia goes away.
DRAMA!
Inside the haveli sia feels sorry for having reprimanded raghav and weeps, but says that she cannot forget the insults heaped on her because of his betrayal. This is the reason which prompts her to behave sternly with him, though she knows that he is a good person.
ACTION!
DM has returned (yuck) and wants to punish ammaji for her wrongdoings towards him. He sends a grp of his men dressed as netas to ammaji's house. They are allowed after a thorough searching inside the haveli under raghav's monitoring. Ammaji invites them in and asks them why they have visited. The men speak rather flatteringly towards ammaji, telling her that they have got some dvpt plans for veerpur. As she is the most powerful person in the kasba, they have come to her for her agreement. Ammaji is taken in as she loves hearing her own praise. The men also tell ammaji that they want to make her the candidate for the upcoming elections and also erect a statue in her honour. Ammaji is surprised and happy at their words, but tells them that she will inform them of her decision after thinking. Raghav, on the other hand does not seem convinced and looks at the men with suspicion.
Like raghav, dharmaveer and gajender are not convinced and plan to follow the "party workers". The men land up in the guesthouse where DM is staying and enter. Dharamveer and gajender follow them inside and find out that it is DM who will be ammaji's "ghat yog". They analyze the reasons behind dm's return and find that he was amonst the ppl trampled by ammaji while in power. They conspire and think of making DM an ally. So Gajender calls DM from inside as the anonymous man who helped him with Jai Singh's discovery. DM starts to deny gajender's offer of help, so they meet him in person and unmask their identity. DM asks them how he can believe that ammaji's kith and kin are plotting against her. Dharamveer and Gajender declare how ammaji has mistreated them all their lives. Now they just want freedom from her rule. DM consents and says that he certainly wants laalchi, nikamme and ghatiya ppl like them in his plan. He tells them to convince ammaji to attend the murti sthapan so that she can be killed outside her haveli. The "allies" then shake hands and laugh in true filmi style.
COMEDY!
Dharamveer laughs in his usual rambunctious way for a long time. DM stares at him and tells him that he doesn't like his laughter and turns back. Dharamveer immediately wants to shoot DM down but Gajender consoles him. Trust me, this scene was HILARIOUS!😆
