Yesterday's epi was certainly a heart wrenching one. Sheela, sia and jhoomar are happily cooking in the kitchen, discussing her upcoming marriage. Sia teases jhoomar saying, ek pati ke dil ka raasta uske pet se guzarta hai. ( actually i found it pretty odd, SIA says this?) Suddenly our phoolan devi ( ammaji of course!) interrupts rudely and asks jhoomar to speak in private with her.
Sia and sheela anxiously wait for jhoomar to come and tell them what went on between her and ammaji. Jhoomar arrives, crying profusely. they never really show what transpired between her and ammaji, but it is implied that ammaji ordered jhoomar to fulfill DM's wishes to save her own neck . ( ugh!)🤢
Sheela is so angry that she immediately marches off to ammaji and tells her that she wont let her ruin her daughter's life. Jhoomar is the daughter of the house, after all. But ammaji as usual suppresses her and tells her that a maidservant's honour does not hold any importance for her.😡
Sheela then prays to God confessing how weak a mother she is, as she can't protect her own daughter. She prays earnestly to save the maan-samman of her daughter at any cost.
The only hopeful scene was that after a long time, RAGHAV CONVERSES WITH SIA! 😊 When sia comes to give him milk and goes away, Raghav stares after her like a lost puppy. He runs after her and stops her. He tells her that though the same relationship doesn't exist between them, she is the only one he can confide in.( AWW!😛) He again tells her the usual stuff... "mein bahut laachar aur bebas mehsoos kar raha hoon" and all that. But sia is so fed up that she smirks and tells him that u can't do anything. For to achieve what u want, you have to fight. If u really wanna do something, u have to evoke the brother in u, the human in u. But that is not possible as being the son of ammaji, you never protest and give ur own opinion, irrespective of what is right or wrong. She says this challengingly and walks away, while Raghav again stares after her thoughtfully.
Jhoomar cries for her fate near the well, and Dheeraj spots her. He asks with concern why she is crying, but she refuses to answer. He then wonders that something is wrong in the house, but no one is telling him anything.
The next morn ammaji gets ready by 4 and asks jhoomar to get ready. Sia, sheela and jhoomar escort her tearfully to the main hall. As they are planning to leave, RAGHAV PROTESTS and tells his mom that what she is doing is not right! Ammaji tells him to remember what she told him b4 abt keeping quiet. Raghav fights back saying that he might not be so gr8 as his mom, but he still knows the importance of fulfilling filial bonds such as brotherhood. he says that he would have killed dm and gone to jail if necessary, but he can't see jhoomar being sent away for such a purpose.
Ammaji interrupts rudely and tells him that to preserve her "family honour" it is necessary for jhoomar to do so. Moreover, if she is of any help to the house, she must fulfill it. Raghav starts to demur again but jhoomar tells him that if she can b of any help , she will understand that she has repaid all her debts to the house. Jhoomar walks to the car outside while Sia, sheela and raghav stare with shock at her retreating back. Raghav too, starts walking outside sadly, pausing for a minute to look at sheela and sia. Sheela cries inconsolably while Sia nods in approval of his action. ( RAGHAV IS CERTAINLY CHANGING FOR THE BETTER!)
