Sunehri tells Gajender that she has had enough. Even the cattle living in the haveli's backyard are treated with more respect than they are! There's a wedding going on at home, yet nobody bothered to invite them to join in on the festivities. How unfair! She's not going to sit back and let everyone make a mockery of her in front of the guests. She can't take it anymore and is going to her maayka. Gajender tells her to calm down. From yesterday's turn of events it's obvious that DM won't rest until he has made Ammaji pay. So Sunehri doesn't need to fret - things might work out in their favour sooner than she thinks.
Chanda, Sheela, Santosh, Ramrati and Sia help Jhumar get ready for the ring ceremony that evening. (I must say, Jhumar looks absolutely gorgeous in that short sleeved, dark blue lehenga she's wearing!) Once she's finally decked up, everyone remarks how stunning she looks. Dheeraj is passing by and stops once he lays his eyes on her. He pauses for a few moments and gazes intently at her, as if awestruck by her beauty. Then he leaves.
The groom-to-be, his family and other guests arrive at the haveli. Ammaji greets them all and everyone settles in the hall. The women bring Jhumar out. Both Dheeraj and the groom smile as they look at her. Avtar, Joginder and Raghav look pleased. The bride and the groom are asked to sit down, and the parents from both sides bless the couple and give them gifts as a part of shagun ki rasam. The women begin to sing and clap and all the guests and family members enjoy themselves.
DM arrives with a group of policemen outside the haveli. One of the guards dashes inside to inform Ammaji, who immediately grows tense. She asks for the rings to be brought out so that the ceremony can be carried out. Sheela proceeds to place the ring on the groom's finger, while his mother proceeds to do the same to Jhumar. When DM isn't let into the haveli, he breaks the door down with his leg and barges in. Everyone looks shell shocked to see him. Jhumar quickly pulls her chunari over her face and huddles close to Sheela, trembling in fear.
DM tells Ammaji that the court has summoned her and he's here to take her away. She snaps back at him, saying that there's an important ceremony going on at her haveli so the court order can wait another day or two. She tells everyone to continue with the ring exchanging, but DM grabs her hand. He says that the law doesn't care about the haveli's festivities. Raghav orders him to leave his mother's hand and get lost. Ammaji's guards point their guns at DM, at which all the policemen aim their guns at them. DM says that he's taking Ammaji away and if anyone dares to stop him, there would be a bigger bloodbath in Veerpur than anyone has ever seen. He handcuffs her while everyone looks on, completely shocked. The episode ends with Ammaji being taken away by DM and the policemen.
