Jhumar tells the guy (did they mention his name yet?) that she's fine with their alliance. Her family knows what's best for her and she has accepted their decisions. The guy smiles and asks her to go back to the hall with him. When they get there, Ammaji asks him if he accepts this rishta. He and his parents say yes and everyone looks immensely pleased except Jhumar. Suddenly, a man shows up in the haveli and tells Ammaji that he has a court order against her. She gets embarrassed and tells the guests to leave for the time being - they shall discuss the wedding details later. As soon as they're gone, she slaps the man and warns him against creating a scene in front of her guests again. Then she makes him do 300 sit-ups and orders him to get lost. She also adds that a measly piece of paper doesn't scare her.
Santosh, Sheela, Chanda and Sia are in the kitchen. Sia is disappointed that nothing works out in this haveli without chaos - just as they were all ready to prepare for Jhumar's wedding, a new issue involving the court has cropped up. Santosh tells her not to fret. Things like these are regular occurrences in their haveli and Ammaji knows how to deal with it. Both Sia and Sheela hope that it wouldn't throw any obstacles in Jhumar's wedding. Ammaji arrives in the kitchen and asks Sheela if she's satisfied yet or still thinks that Ammaji would blindly get her daughter married to just anyone. Sheela says that of course she's happy. Ammaji tells them all that Jhumar will be married into the right house and her wedding will be a grand affair. She asks Joginder to have the haveli decorated lavishly and flawlessly. Everyone in the scene is immensely pleased to hear her words, and she leaves.

Ammaji wants her to be sent away from this haveli for good. If she gets married, she'll never get to meet Sheela again. She doesn't want to lose her new found mother so fast. She does not want to get married - can Sheela please stop the marriage from happening? Sheela explains that she shares an unbreakable bond with this house that nobody can take away from her. Daughters are meant to move away from their mothers' house one day or the other. The man she's marrying is ideal for her and will give her every ounce of happiness that she never got in this haveli. So, it would be great if she'd wholeheartedly accept this alliance. Sheela wants to see a smile on the face of her laado, not tears. The scene ends with the two of them sharing a hug.

She replies that she's been playing the power game for a long time now and knows what she's doing here. In the next scene, the man Ammaji had thrown out of her haveli earlier goes to DM's house. He asks the man if Ammaji begged and pleaded after hearing the court order. The man says that it was the opposite - she fearlessly warned him, made him do sit-ups and threw him out of her haveli. The episode ends on DM's face.
