Ammaji introduces Dheeraj to Avtar and Rangeeli. While he is greeting them, Rangeeli looks completely smitten by him. Dheeraj then goes to touch Chanda's feet but once again Ammaji tells him not to seek blessing from a servant. Chanda looks heartbroken, as does Avtar. Ammaji begins to praise Dheeraj wholeheartedly. She says that he is still as modest and respectful as he ever was. She tells Raghav that Dheeraj was extremely intelligent as a student. What books other people would take a year to read, he'd take only a week to memorize! She adds that Sheela completely doted on him. He was her laadla. She was the one who loved to take care of him, feed and bathe him. Dheeraj asks where Choti Ma (Sheela) is. Ammaji says that she's unwell and is resting. Then she orders Jhumar to take his belongings to his room. She bends to pick up his suitcase but he stops her by saying that he'll do it. Ammaji tells Raghav and Gajender to explain the accounts' details to him later. Gajender is not pleased to see her treating Dheeraj so fondly.
Dheeraj and Jhumar arrive in a room. She picks up his suitcase, but he stops her. Then she takes out a new bedsheet and starts spreading it over his bed. Once again, he stops her. When she doesn't listen, he says that he has always been doing his work by himself and doesn't like making others do anything for him. She is surprised by his politeness. He asks if she minded what he just said. She denies it.
Sheela is lying in bed. She asks Ramrati about Dheeraj. Ramrati replies that he is just as innocent, modest and kind hearted as he was as a child. He looks just like a prince now! Sheela recalls what a quiet and shy child he was. Always minded his own business and barely talked to people. He loved to eat from her hands and that's the only time he talked much. Then he'd wander off with his books to study. She wonders if he'd still remember her. Ramrati says of course he would. After all, Sheela had loved him like a mother. He was worried when Ammaji said she was unwell. Sheela asks Ramrati to take her to Dheeraj's room. Ramrati helps her get up and together they leave.
They arrive in Dheeraj's room, where Jhumar is fixing the bed. He instantly recognizes Sheela and seeks her blessings. They share a warm moment together. Sheela touches his face and exclaims that he has grown so much. Yet, his voice still has the same sweet aura to it. He didn't forget his Choti Ma, did he? He replies that he doesn't even remember his real mother's face. Sheela had been the only mother to him. She filled the void of a mother's absence in his life when he was a child. How could he ever forget her? He's here with her now and will never leave his Choti Ma alone. Then Sheela introduces Jhumar as her daughter to him and begins to explain. He points out that he already knows everything and after finding out about her courage and sacrifices, he has grown to respect her even more. Sheela says emotionally that today all three of her children are with her. She feels complete now! She asks Dheeraj to freshen up. Today she'd like to feed him herself.
Sia and Santosh are in the kitchen. Santosh says that she had heard a lot praises for Dheeraj from Sheela before, but after meeting him she has realized that he is indeed very likable and straightforward. Sia is happy for Sheela. Santosh apprehensively mentions that she's afraid Dheeraj would have to face Gajender and Sunehri's hatred since Ammaji gave Gajender's work to him. Those two might even try to harm Dheeraj, considering how sly they are. Sia agrees with her.
Sunehri tells Gajender that Dheeraj might fool people with his innocence, but in reality he's a wolf in sheep's clothing. He smirks and gleefully tells her to wait and watch what he'd do to that Dheeraj.
Rangeeli is talking loudly to herself. She can't help but fawn over Dheeraj's innocence and looks. She decides to seduce him since Avtar refuses to touch her. After all, that's the only way she could get pregnant. Otherwise Ammaji would eventually throw her out. So, she will have to make Dheeraj father her child. She'll say that it's Avtar's. It's not like anyone would know! And once she puts a child in Ammaji's lap, she will hand her all the keys. Then, Rangeeli will be the rani of the haveli!
Gajender goes to Dheeraj and starts to pass indirect and sarcastic comments. Dheeraj says that he's pleased to have Gajender for guidance. Since he has so much experience, if Dheeraj ever makes mistakes he could correct him. They hug, and Gajender thinks 'Of course I'll guide you. In fact, I'll show you such a path that you will eventually find yourself thrown out of this haveli!' The episode ends.
