Na Aana Is Desh Laado: The Show So Far

This story is set in Veerpur.

Here is a list of Characters


Ammaji (played by Meghna Malik)
Main villain. She is the Mukhiya of Veerpur. She controls everyone and decides what happens in the village.

Yugender
Oldest son of Ammaji. He seems to be a great follower of Ammaji as well as a pandit/religious man.

Santosh
Yugender's wife. Is infertile. She likes to help out the women in the house, like when Chanda had her baby girl killed, she was there for her support.

Gajender
2nd son of Ammaji. He is quite a funny character and listens to what Ammaji says/orders.

Sunehri
Gajender's wife. She is stuck up and Ammaji's favourite bahu as she has had a son and so believes she can do what she wants. She instigates Ammaji at times.

Aditya
Sunehri's only child and Ammaji's only grandchild and favourite.

Raghav
Ammaji's youngest son. Is against Ammaji's ideals.

Dharamveer
Ammaji's brother-in-law. Is trying to gain Ammaji's position on Veerpur. Is a drunkard and lives with another woman/has a mistress.


Dharamveer's Mistress (Played by Sharmiliee Raj)
She is Dharamveer's secret mistress and as like everyone else, she follows Ammaji's orders.

Rasheeda (or Shila)
Dharamveer's wife. Mother of Jhumar.

Avtar
Dharamveer's son, who is married to Chanda and loves her dearly, but won't go against Ammaji.

Chanda
Avtar's wife. She has had 2 baby girls and so Ammaji regards as a "witch" or "weak" because she hasn't had a baby boy.

Doctor
Sia's dad who is a doctor and runs the local hospital. The doctor was shifted to Veerpur and he abides by Ammaji's rules as her fears her and wants to live peacefully.


Sia (Played by Natasha Sharma)
Main character, who is against Ammaji's female infanticides and female injustice. She knows the laws very well and stand up for women of Veerpur.

Vaidehi (Played by Reema Warah)
Sia's sister, who admires Sia.

Sunita
Helps Sia and wants to fight against female injustice. She got married into Veerpur but it seems like her husband has died - not sure about this.

Jhumar
She is born to Dharamveer and his wife but her mother has been hiding her identity to protect her. She works as a servant in the haveli.

Yashpal
The main police man, police chief of Veerpur

Rajjo
Yashpal's wife

Vallaram and Shantiram
The two ordinary policement who follow everything Ammaji says and are usually at the police station

Episode 1 - 9th March

A baby girl has just been born and is drowned in milk. It is Ammaji's birthday and all the poor people go to see and get her blessings. She goes home, where 2 police men tell Ammaji about the girl born and killed. Chanda gets scared for her baby. Chanda is 9 months pregnant and is having a girl and wants to protect her from Ammaji. She has labour pains.

Episode 2 - 10th March

Chanda gives birth to a girl. They tell Ammaji that she gave birth to a dead girl, put the baby girl asleep and tell a maid to take the baby. Just as she gets to the front door, the baby wakes and cries and Ammaji gets angry. She orders the baby to be killed. The maid goes to the streets and starts digging when a car comes and scares her off. A lady, Sia, finds the baby girl.

Episode 3 - 11th March

They take the baby to the hospital and Sia's dad operates on her through the night to save her, whilst Chanda is griefstricken about her baby. The baby doesn't survive and Sia decides to take action. She meets with Sunita, another women from the village who wants to fight against this injustice and she directs her to Ammaji.

Episode 4 - 12th March

Sia, Vaidehi (her sister) and her father go with Sunita to the police station and they are unable to lodge a FIR, so they go to Ammaji's house. Ammaji decides to have a panchayat to find out who killed the baby girl.

Episode 5 - 16th March

The panchayat finds nobody guilty of killing the baby and instead they see it as the neighbouring village who has left the dead baby in their land. It is revealed that Ammaji's devar, Dharamveer hates Ammaji and is only after the property.

Episode 6 - 17th March

Ammaji does something to the Daiy Maa who went to bury the baby girl and she goes missing and Sia looses her chance of finding out who killed the baby. Aditya, Ammaji's grandson arrives to a fully decorated house. Ammaji goes to Sia's house.

Episode 7 - 18th March

Ammaji invites Doctor and family to Aditya's birthday party. Chanda reveals it is the 2nd time her baby has been killed. Sunehri's husband gives her Rs.25000. The 2 policemen joke about being a girl. Aftar tells Chanda he has been ordered to lock her in her room.

Episode 8 - 19th March

Aftar locks Chanda in her room, Aditya reveals that Aftar was with Chanda this morning, in front of everyone and Ammaji makes him understand. A maid hears coughing from Chanda's room and Santosh takes Chanda. Someone drops something on Sia and Sunita takes her inside the house to clean herself and they see Chanda. They go to find her when the lights go off and fail to find her. They go to Ammaji and ask her where Chanda is and they catch her lie.

Episode 9 - 23rd March

Sia tells Ammaji to call out Santosh and Santosh says she was with someone else, Sia asks Ammaji to take Aditya's kasam and she goes to when Chanda screams. Ammaji lets Sia check in the house and by that time Aftar takes Chanda away and her stomach hits a small pole when she falls. Jhumar takes Chanda's place and Sia finds no Chanda. Ammaji forces Sia to say sorry to Aditya for ruining the party.

Episode 10 - 24th March

Sia says sorry and insults Ammaji. Whilst going home, some guys throw a stone at Sia and it hits her head. Ammaji remembers her insult. Sunehri tells Aditya and Gajender off. Aditya goes crying and Ammaji says she'll make whoever upset him, cry and cheers up Aditya.

Episode 11 - 25th March

Some hitmen got to attack Sia at home but she scares them off. Ammaji isn't impressed with the hitmen and decides to make Sia's life hell. (Indian Sumo) Wrestlers make a ring outside Sia's house. Ammaji tells Santosh off for letting Sia see her and bans her from eating.

Episode 12 - 26th March

Sia's dad and Vaidehi goto Ammaji to ask for forgiveness. A woman asks Sia for help on checking the sex of her child and Sia promises her, her child will be born and to stop her family taking her to go for an illegal sonography. Dharamveer's mistress instigates Dharamveer to use Sia.

Episode 13 - 30th March

Yugendher ignores Santosh. Sia's dad asks Sia to stop this fight and she refuses. Ammaji demands for a sonography machine to be brought into town. Sunehri instigates Ammaji against Chanda and Santosh. Rajjo doesn't want to go to the doctors so Yashpal takes her outside and beats her in public, when Sia comes and protects her.

Episode 14 - 31st March

Sia and Rajjo lodge an FIR after Sia makes Rajjo understand and they pretend to arrest Yashpal. Yashpal tells Ammaji everything. Ammaji sends men to bring Rajjo but find out that Sia is taking her to the Commissioner. Ammaji's men follow Sia's car and Sia manages to loose them. The commissioner finds out everything about Veerpur and thanks Sia. Ammaji is informed that the men don't reach Sia and is angry.

Episode 15 - 1st April

Darogarh Sahb is dismissed from the Police by the commissioner. Ammaji finds out that the commissioner has put Vallaram/Shantiram in charge of protecting Rajjo. Ammaji thinks of a plan. Sia's dad forgives Sia, when men full of rang come. Chanda puts a bit of rang on Avtar and walks off.

Episode 16 - 2nd April

The whole town celebrates Holi in a traditional style. Chanda worries about Santosh and they talk about what happened. Some men smother Holi Rang over Sia's dad and Vaidehi runs away but gets kidnapped. Sia's dad trys to find out if anybody has seen Vaidehi with great difficulty but finds nothing and goes to Ammaji begging for help.

Episode 17 - 6th April

Sia feels guilty over Vaidehi's kidnapping. Sia's Dad visits Ammaji who tells him to let what ever happened before to happen. An unknown man leaves Sia, Vadehi's dupatta with a message to go somewhere alone. Sia finds and frees Vaidehi but some men try to stop them both from leaving, Vaidehi falls unconscious from a hit and Sia manages to escape when the men run after her and a Sadhu appears.

Episode 18 - 7th April

A man dressed as a Sadhu saves Sia from the men who run away and introduces himself as Chichi. Chanda is tormented by Laado's voice. Vaidehi regains consciousness and Sia thanks Chichi and he drops them home. A woman, her bahu (who can't produce milk) and her newborn Son visit Shila, who gives him to Chanda to breast feed.

Episode 19 - 8th April

Sia and Vaidehi go home and tell ther dad and Sunita what happened and about Chichi. The 2 policemen ask Vaidehi intrusive questions. Ammaji comes to visit and indirectly tells Sia to stay in her limits. Yugender praises Ammaji but she says to be wary of Sia still. Vaidehi is still scared and Sia comforts her when their dad tells them they have 10 mins to pack to leave Veerpur forever.

Episode 20 - 9th April

Sia persuades her dad to stay and fight back instead of running away from them. Sia gives courage to Vaidehi to not be scared. A sonography machine arrives at the doctors dispensary. Sia finds out the school isn't run properly and Raghav (Chichi) entertains the children. Ammaji has plans for Chanda. Chanda wants to play with another woman's "Laado" and Ammaji arrives.

Episode 21 - 13th April

Ammaji takes Chanda and locks her in the Kotari behind the haveli to live there and gives the keys to Sheela to look after. An old woman falls from carrying logs and Sia helps her while some men taunt her. Sunita tells Sia about the sonography machine. Yashpal threatens Rajjo. Sia confronts her dad about the sonography machine.

Episode 22 - 14th April

Chichi gets some free treatment done at Sia's Dad's surgery and asks and goes home with them for lunch annoying Sia from excessive (comical) demanding. Chichi leaves and Sia's Dad recieves a message that there is a festival for the arrival of the Sonography machine. Ammaji rides a horse when Avtar comes to talk to her about Chanda, but she insults Chanda and talks about his remarriage.

Episode 23 - 15th April

Shila goes to feed Chanda and Chanda says she wants to get out of the Kotari. The grand affair begins, Chander Mohan arrives and they do pooja to the machine and then use it. Chander Mohan says a few words when Sia interupts to tell him the machine will be used to determine the gender of the baby. Sia asks him to take the machine back, the media has an uproar and Chander Mohan agrees to take the machine back and decides to improve the state of the hospital instead.

Episode 24 - 16th April

Some women tell Sia that what she did was wrong. Some men also tell her the same, but Sia tries to stick up for herself. Sia's dad is afraid of what will happen. Yugendher talks about killing Sia but Ammaji says she will be punished alive. Dharamveer's mistress takes advantage of what has happened and goes to go Sia to instigate her against Ammaji more and to speak against Ammaji.

Episode 25 - 20th April

Sia and her dad talk about her wanting to do help the women of the village by educating them. She buys some books and starts a school with Sunita. Raghav gives Sia some flowers and tells her that her school won't work, but Sia doesn't loose hope. Nobody comes to the school so Sia and Sunita decide to visit everyone's house to advertise.

Episode 26 - 21st April

Sia and Sunita go to many houses but have the doors closed on them. They decide to go to one house and persuade a woman with some emotional talk, when men come and say her school won't work. Rajjo comes forward as Sia's first student and seeing this other women follow Sia back to her Patshala. She starts her first class. One man informs Ammaji of this.

Episode 27 - 22nd April

The men find out their wives are at Sia's school and try to take them but Sia doesnt let them. The husbands go to Ammaji for help but she tells them to go get their wives back and be men. The 2 policemen find out and try to get Ammaji to stop the husbands, but she doesn't. Dharamveer finds out about the school and is really happy with his mistress. The women's husbands take sticks to thrash Sia's school.

Episode 28 - 23rd April

The men try to take their wives but Raghav stands up for Sia and scares the men away, they go to Ammaji and Ammaji sends them home. Sia and her family are impressed with Raghav. Sia daydreams of Raghav and Vaidehi catches her and teases her.

Episode 29 - 27th April

Avtar meets Chanda and tells her he won't get married again and about Sia. Yashpal tries to threaten Rajjo, but she sticks up for herself. Raghav and Sia have a kite flying competition and Sia cuts herself. Raghav bandages her and she asks about his details. Yugendher worries about Sia's school and Ammaji tells him not to worry. Sia invites Raghav to dinner.

Episode 30 - 28th April

A man tries to take his wife from Sia's school but fails. Raghav tells Sia he loves her then says he was joking. Raghav jokes about his past and Sia doesn't like it. Raghav apologises. Sia's dad convinces Vaidehi to go home with him and she doesn't want to disturb Sia and Raghav. Raghav and Sia have dinner.

I visit this forum very frequently and have always noticed that there are no updates about the show nor is anyone interacting too..... Its very silent..... We've loads of viewers viewing each posts but none reply...... I post almost all articles I find related to the show, characters, actors, etc. So i thot why not I take an initiative to make the forum interactive and cheerful..... Hope you guys would help me out with this......

To be Frank I've never ever in my life written an update in any of the forums😆 and I'm a very bad story teller too 😆. so I shall try my best to update u guys but pls bear with me as my updates would be very small as I'm also working. But I shall try making it a point to update u guys from now on. As for today I shall give u a brief update as to whats happened after the 4th of June till date 😳

So here we go:-

* Raghav was cheating Sia by getting married to her. It was all a game to trap Sia played by him and his mother. On their suhaag raat Raghav promises Sia that he would be back and in her room she sees a guy and thinks him to be Raghav and hugs him. This is caught by Ammaji and the guy turns out to be someone else. Sia is blamed in front of the whole village for cheating Ammaji's son and carry out a illegal relatiosonship behind their backs. Raghav is no where in the whole picture. Sia is publically criticized and the Panchayat along with Ammaji's leadership decides to take over all of Sia's rights as Raghav's wife and Ammaji's Bahu. Sia is totally shattered and is thrown in the servant's quarters. Her only hope is Raghav whom she expects to be back at anytime to save her from all this badhnaami.

* The day comes when Raghav reaches the village and Sia on seeing him goes running and hugs him. Thats when Raghav exposes himself that he is his mother's "Laadla beta" and for his mom he would end up soing anything 😡. Sia is totally shattered and ends up like a lifeless body.

* All in the family are super shocked to c Raghav's true form both his brothers and bhabhis. His brothers praise him and Ammaji praises him even more. This sows a seed of jealousy in both the brothers and Ammaji also says that her true blood is Raghav as he did everything so perfectly. But somewhere in Raghav's expressions we get to c that he has this tinge of guilt for what he has done to Sia but does show it.

*Sia's father gets to know about what Raghav has done to his daughter and the next day while Raghav is exercising in his house he (Sia's father) storms in and hits him badly. Seeing this Ammaji comes running and gets her gundas to beat up Sia's father. Seeing this Sia reacts and tries saving her father but is helpless as Ammaji asks Raghav to take Sia away. Sia's father is brutally injured. Sia is being dragged by Raghav to her room. Once in the room Sia gives it back to Raghav ( It was an awesome set of dialogues well placed by Natasha Mohan) which shocks Raghav and u get to c his guilt but as usual he hides it and walks off as if he has done nothing worng.

* Sia's father health is so bad that Ammaji sees to it that he isn given any proper mediation and no help is given from the vilage. S1 is all alone with her father's assitant, Sunitha and YR. Somehow treatment is given.

* Due to SF's behaviour 2wards Raghav and Sia cheating illegally Raghav the panchayat puls black coal all over SF's face and makes him ride over the donkey thru out the village. YR is also given a big punishment as she helped SF in his treatment and for back answering Ammaji. Ammaji orders her to be taken to the town hospital and get her scanning down and to find out what baby she is carrying. If its a girl kill it then and there. Yashpal is very happy hearing the same.

* Sia's father goes thru a very bad mental trauma due to all the inicidents. Seeing all this Sia is shattered and promises to take revenge against Raghav, Ammaji and the family. Yashpal gets the baby aborted as its a girl and YR is totally shattered whom Sunita comes and consoles. The next day Sia tells that she is going back to the Haveli to fight back and S1 is against it. But SF is for it and supports Sia. Along with them Sunitha and YR is there.

* Sia comes back to Ammaji's house and makes up a show that her father kicked her out of the house and she has no place to stay. Ammaji doesn trust her but decides to keep her at her place and get to know what she is upto. Even seeing Sia Raghav too doesn trust her.

* All the bhabhis of the house supports Sia in her decision and promises to help her in everything that she plans to do against Ammaji. Raghav in the mean time doesn spare any single oppurtunity to torture Sia mentally by making her clean his shoes, cleaning her handprints which were made when she had first entered the house. Sia weeps by all this but makes herself more strong to fight back.

* As C1 has twice had a baby girl Ammaji plans to get A1 married the 2nd time which A1 totally declines. But Ammaji (she gets her men kidnap C1 and threatens to kill her) traps A1 in such a way that he is obliged to abide by her decision.

* Hearing this D1 plans things with his mistress where they get a girl from a very poor family so that they can loot Ammaji. Here enters R1 who is a very greedy female esp for money, ornaments, dress, etc. She has all bad habits like smoking, drinking,etc. But to get into the house she hides all this.

*Sia tries her max to stop the marriage but nothing happens. C1 is all shattered and heart broken. On the day of the marriage Sia asks Sunitha to come over. Sunitha hides and comes and takes a letter from Sia. The letter is to be given to the Police Commisioner and it says that A1 is being married forcefully even after his first wife is still living and no divorce taken place.

* Police comes over to the place but is fooled by Ammaji and her men in such a way that she shows them that she is getting A1 remarried to C1 as its their wedding anniversary. The police gets convinced and leaves the place and Ammaji gets A1 married to R1.

* Ammaji is all angry seeing police at her place and doubts Sia and the bhabhi clan. But later gets info that Sunitha gave the letter. She asks Yashpal to poison the food which Sunitha feeds the kids in her school and traps her saying that she is a Daiyan and she did all this on purpose. Sunitha is very badly tortured by the villagers who is being instigated by Ammaji. Very badly hurt and wonded, SF saves her and takes her to get treated. The Commisioner gets to know this and after getting to know the truth arrests Ammaji and her first two sons which happens after a huge hungama.

* This is enjoyed by Sia and her ladies clan. But Ammaji would be punished only once Sunitha gives her gavayi in court. Raghav gets Sunitha stabbed by another gu on the way to court and Ammaji is released. As Ammaji has no proof she cant blame Sia.

* YR gets to know that yashpal got Sunitha killed thru another guy and says that she would give her gavayi to the police. Yashpal drags YR to Ammaji and Ammaji asks him to treat YR in such a way that she never opens her mouth the next day. He hits YR so badly that she isn able to walk. Jhumar the next day sees YR on the roads and gets her to the hosp. Hearing this Sia and the clan are all shocked and decides to teach YashPal a lesson.

*For this they target R1 and tells her that there is a mela which is for spinsters to get good husbands and there u get loads of attractive stuffs. As R1 is very much close and the laadli of Ammaji she get permission to go for the same along with Sia and the clan. Once they reach there after the pooja they leave Jhumar(She knows the complete planand supports the girls) with R1 and without R1's knowledge Sia along with the two bhabis go to YR's house and motivates her to fight YashPal.

*Yashpal is on his way back home fully drunk and the whole place is very dark. The ladies are dresses in black shawls. Sia from the side throws chilly powder into his eyes and YR drapes him tightly with a shawl. All 4 come back with sticks and beats him black and blue (This scene is worth a watch guys esp for females who r being handles by jerks like Yashpal. I was jumping in my seats seeing the scene 😃). And the clan leave. In the meantime R1 finds the clan missing and starts searching but b4 she goes any further the clan arrives saying that they were in the temple.

* Villagers see Yaspal badly beaten up and takes him to Ammaji. Ammaji is all shocked seeing this and screams as to who had the courage to do this and that too to her loyal servant. Just then the clan arrives along with R1 and Jhumar and Ammaji asks them to go in. They r all happy seeing Yashpal. He is taken to one of the best hospitals and treated. But with one eye totally gone and right leg fully broken.

* Sia gets to know that Raghav is Ammaji's strenght and first she has to break that. She also tactfully gets R1 and sunheri on cat fight terms as Sia knows that both r trying to get into the good books of Ammaji. Ammaji prefers R1 more as she is the new bahu and she very badly wants a grandson. Sia tries getting Raghav towards her by taking small tactful steps like taking more care of him, etc. Raghav is totally confused seeing her changed behaviour. But Sia says that she is doing all this as she is the servant of the house 😆

* Yashpal is back and Ammaji asks him to take rest for some months and that she would look out for another loyalist for her. Yashpal is totally heart broken and says that he is always her loyalist and to give him one more chance. Then Ammaji asks him to get the killer of Sunitha and to finish him off as he is the only saboot and the police is hunting for him. The police have said they would give a reward for those who get the murderer and the same is posted everywhere in the village. A Villager does inform for the greed of money but b4 the police could get him he is killed by Yashpal.

Thats as such about the show.... Will update the after the epi.

I caught up with the show after ages. And quite frankly, couldn't make head or tail of what was going on. Thanks for getting me up to date.
