Popular actor Aman Verma is set to make an appearance in Colors' show 'Na Aana Is Des Laado' and play a character with a negative streak.

The actor, who came into the limelight with roles in 'Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', 'Sujata', 'Viraasat', and also did bit roles in films like 'Sangharsh' and 'Baghban', will essay the role of Bhanu Pratap.

He is excited, especially about playing a man from Haryana.

"This is the first time I will be portraying a Haryanvi character. Right now, I am just busy learning the dialect and the accent as I want to do complete justice to the character I will be playing. Moreover, it would be interesting for the viewers to see a powerful 'Man', challenging Ammaji on the show," Aman said in a press statement.

His character is against Ammaji, played by actress Meghna Mallik. He will bring alive Ammaji's 15-year-old past, triggering a change in her sinister character.

Aman will sport a moustache and a black teeka to suit his role in the show. His look justifies as a ruffian who is out of jail after spending 15 years in prison. His character's sole aim is to destroy Ammaji and her family.

Aman Verma kills Raghav in Laado
Buzz up!

We were the first one to inform you about the prospective leap in COLORS' Na Aana Is Des Laado. And now we tell you how the stage gas been set to make it grand and shocking at the same time.

According to our sources, Aman Verma will join Amma Ji (Meghna Malik) post leap. Apparently, he is the real Bhanupratap and the one who we are currently seeing on the show is his dupe. It will be Aman who will murder Raghav (Aditya Redij) and will also take away one of the twins delivered by Sia (Natasha Sharma). Sia will succumb to death after delivering.

Informs our source from the show, "Aman Verma will enter the show post the leap. He will be shown in the jail charged for murdering Raghav. He is the real Bhanupratap and Amma ji's nemesis. He will also deprive Sia of one of her twin babies. Sia will die after delivering thereby putting rest to the dilemma as to who will finally survive - Sia or her babies. The second baby will be with Amma Ji. Post the leap, viewers will be taken to the flashback to reveal how the leading couple died."

Confirming the news, Verma says, "Yes, I am entering the show and feel honoured to become a part of the popular show. My promos will hit the air-waves from tomorrow.''

Sheeba Chaddha enters Laado

Na Aana Iss Des Laado will see Sheeba Chaddha making an entry soon. She has earlier done shows like Kasturi and Kitni Mohabbat Hai and is back on television as Bhanu Pratap's (Aman Verma) sister. The actress has also acted in movies like Delhi 6 and Parzania.

As per our source, "Her character has a past which is connected with Ammaji and it is for her that her brother Bhanu wants to take revenge from Ammaji. A lot of mysteries related to Bhanu will open up with his sister's story being revealed. She has started shooting for the show today and the episode will go on air in a day or two."

Laado producers hunting for lead actors of their new show

Shankuntalam Telefilms, the production house that brought us serials like Na Aana Iss Des Laado, Love Ne Mila Di Jodi and Santaan is putting finishing touches to a new show to be starting in December on Colors. According to sources, the story has been finalized though the casting process is still on.

The story will be set in rural Punjab and based on the lifestyle there. It will be about the rivalry between two families and how it affects everyone around. Interestingly enough, though the show is all set to be launched next month, the producers are still hunting for their lead actors!

Sources, however, confirmed that Abhaas Mehta (last seen in Devi) has been signed on to play a grey character. Abhaas neither confirmed nor denied the news. We tried calling producer Shayamasis Bhatacharjee but he was not available.

Exclusive - Meet Sia's daughters

Indya.com exclusively discloses the two girls who will play Sia's twins after Shakuntalam Telefilms' Na Aana Is Des Laado takes a leap of 20 years.

The twins will be named as Tanvi and Jhanvi essayed by rookie actors Simran Kaur and Vaishnavi Dhanraj. Sia will succumb to death post her delivery. Both Simran and Vaishnavi have done small roles on television before Laado happened to them. Simran apparently was seen in Shakuntalam Telefilms' Love Ne Mila Di Jodi.

Informs our source from the show, "The two girls who will play twins on the show are Simran and Vaishnavi. They will play Tanvi and Jhanvi. The two girls will be deprived of their parents' love as they will die soon after their birth."

"Bhanupratap (Aman Verma) has raided Ammaji's (Meghna Malik) house as he wants to take vengeance from them. Bajri (Sheeba Chaddha) used to have an affair with Ammaji's husband and the latter had asked her to back off. Refusing to adhere to her command, Bajri continues her affair with her husband which irks Ammaji so mush so that she sends her goons who end up killing her young baby. Bajri gets affected by the incident and becomes mentally unstable. Bhanupratap vows to take her sister's revenge from Ammaji and her family by destroying them completely. His attack at the haveli will force Ammaji and her family to evacuate the place and run for a hide-out. They reach Delhi where Sia delivers twins and dies after that. The two girls are expected to enter by the first week of December", adds our source.

Both Simran and Vaishnavi refused to comment. We also sent a text message to producer Shyamasis Bhattacharya but he too didn't revert.
