About Na Aana Is Desh Laado

This is a story about a village that still practices the evil ritual of female infanticide i.e., killing of the girl child. The show is based in a village near Karnal in Haryana where female infanticide is rampant. The village does not have a single young girl as they're all killed at birth as per the norms. The story features a matriarch powerful woman; Ammaji who dictates over this village and is the key figure promoting female infanticide.
