Ae meri topi palat ke aa smiley36

Such a fun song, and apparently composed by 14 year old R.D.Burman!

Dev is really funny in this movie - I wonder if he took lessons from Kishore Kumar for the shenanigans! smiley36

Film: Funtoosh (1956)

Music: S.D. Burman

Lyrics: Sahir Ludhinavi

Singer: Kishore Kumar

Tere Mere Sapne was based on A.J. Cronin's The Citadel. Earlier, Dev made Kala Pani also based on a novel by A.J. Cronin - Beyond this place.

Dev's literature background must have helped him choose these literary works to base his movies on.

As a 100% heterosexual / straight male, so far in my life, I found 4 men handsome (when in their prime and at their best).

Dev Anand

N.T.Rama Rao and Nitish Bharadwaj (both as Lord Krishna)

Clint Eastwood

Love listening to or watching Dev Anand's old songs, shot in black and white, preferably with a glass of scotch.

That's all I can write. I don't write this much even on the birthdays of my family members, let alone celebrities smiley1

Way before Asha Parekh and several others. Anyway, better late than never.

Devsaab also got it very late. In his case it had a lot to do with his opposition to the 70s Emergency.
