I agree with u all when u say that IMV's intentions are always correct but his methods are questionable. In every aspect he is right. But in Vaiki's marriage case I think he is not right. Agreed S is a mismatch for VV and for the Virani family also, but is it right of him to force Vaiki into a loveless marriage. Instead of taking out his anger ion D I feel he should speak to V...As v has always been the ideal son he should tell him that he is married to D and should honour that marriage. He knows that V had given D signed divorce papers on their wedding night. So why does he not have a showdown with V instead of going all out to destroy D?

He thinks that he is God and decides everyone's fate according to his likes and dislikes. I think he needs to be brought down to earth and the only person who can do that is Devki.

Mehek.. one thing you are overlooking here.. is IMV curbs his emotions.. doesnt get dominated by it.. so when he first went to Ds room to confront her after hearing the divorce news.. it was to put her on the backfoot.. not just to scream and take his anger out on her.. next.. when she told him all the details he had not considered..and he saw a part of CP in her.. and when she told him when S comes she will go..

he knew what he had to do.. He closed all financial doors for her and her grandfather.. he pulled her down and when she hit rock bottom he blasted her in order to break her stupid resolve.. stupid in his mind.. not mahanta..so he wasnt just puring his rage.. 😉 if V incessantly came and told him you have to accept Sabina he wld have dealt with V that harshly too.. telling him what he needs to do doesnt go down well with him..

also blasting V on the phone when he is away is defo NOT IMV..sometimes silence is a dangerous weapon.. V has NO touch with the family.. NO SUPPORT SYSTEM other than D.. who herself is broken.. like Kools said V is troubled coz of the 2 women in his life.. S and D... V has completely disregarded the presence of his father in his life.. if I know him well He wont blow off his fuse on V.. he will make sure tht kid runs high and dry and bail him out of his situation.. he already warned VO.. and when V has no hope.. IMV will pull him up showing you may not consider me.. but you have no one else to fall back on.. either me or D.. V is his hope for the future.. and clearly his weakness.. so he will deal with him differently.. he wont unnecessarily scream at him.. and make that kid more resolute to follow the woman😉 esp when he is not at home..

regaining order and position in someone's life.. can be done with in loads of ways.. he waited to blast D at the most opportune time.. and at the same time.. he made sure the jokers knew who takes shots ..😃in V. Villa.. he saw D was invested where he did not want her.. so he cut it all.. now when he focusses on V.. he will cut the air supply like he said.. burn him out.. n then make sure he is the one tht gives him a new skin..😆 beneath the burns..

bravo, excellent points sonali, i was wonderinjg why he was not talking to vv, and now i think this must be the reason
and this silence strategy can work wonders, he knows how touchy vv is about s, so i thik he is plaing it safe
maybe he wants to take vv on a guilt trip
me thinks he will not even blast vv when he comes back,
u know the vd amrriage time, he said to vv, agar tum chahoge tabhi devki se rishta hogaa, varna mein haath jodke maafi maang loonga
and then he put vv on a guilt trip, so much so that after that goddhana he came and apologised to his father😉
his dialogue ki hogaa wahi jo mein chahta hoon vaibhav par meri haan ko tumhari haan kaa naam dena aata hain mujhe

this strategy always works on vv
even d has used it, remember that seekh time, when d told her to come to dinner, he refused but then eventually he came, same during their first family lunch
though there is a diff, d does not plan all this😛😆
but imv could , he very well knows his son, he will strike at the right time just like he did it with d😉

@Paaji: D is a kid.. runs around in her whims everytime.. So IMV scolds her.. uses authority on her.. etc.. VV is a tedha case.. has been uptil now.. and moreover V knows IMV much better and knows what he is capable of.. so IMV has a tougher task with V always.. he is the closest to V in terms of demeanor.. even when S was in V. Villa.. he did not put V under pressure.. in fact he knew how to handle V. when he came to ask IMV; IMV told him the clear ans.. and ALSO.. made sure he got his head back on business.. now also he will deal with him differently..

i agree wid u but not that his intentions r correct & every oder aspect is rt. hes totally wrong.
