It was touted to be one of their biggest shows, but Mukti Bandhan failed to rake in Television Rating Points (TRPs) for Colors and hence was shifted to the late night slot.

The production house and channel then felt that the main actor Shiv Subramanium, who played IM Virani, was one of the key reasons for the show not clicking. That's when they decided to replace him with another actor. But now they've changed their mind and dropped all plans to replace him.

Instead, they've decided to shift focus on to other tracks. The focus is now on Virani's son Vaibhav whose old flame Sabina has returned into his life, as a result of which his wife Devki will leave the house. And now that the focus is not on IM Virani, we are sure Deepti Naval will not be brought back for a while at least. Deepti was brought into the show a few months ago as Virani's old girlfriend, btu that track just didn't click.

IMV is the pillar of MB. 😔

in all this SHIFTING.. the story STILL FOCUSSES on IMV-D..😉 .. is purey track main VV has been used as some side character.. b4 generalizing MB strategies next time watch the show

AND if not today CP aka NAVAL will be back.. tomorrow.. coz the story wld demand her re entry😉n now the old team of mb is back.. so NORMAL MB is expected not some niyati ka khel😆

P.S. I am just amazed by how they write.. Deepti was brought back as IMVs old girlfriend🤣🤣 classic case of not context of the story
