yes she proclaimed she wasnt capable of such love tht S had.. coz she was just a normal girl.. not a JOAN OF ARC.. so whats her chances anyways.. who cares for normalcy in the wake of sensationalism..

if she is just a normal girl not kinda Joan then why she chosen to marry a guy who confessed that he cant give any love to her for his whole life. is it normal behavior from any girl??

is it normal for any girl to take a taste of compromise marriage due to majburis. who dont have majburi in life.every one has.

koi vi aam larki aisa nahi karsakti chahe jitna vi majbur ho

atleast main toh nahi kersaktii.

not every one dares to accept compromise marriage only few has the courage to sacrifice their life under the compulsion of majburis. and any compromise marriage is just a burden and only few people has will power to bear the burden till life.

yeh koi aam baat nahii haii and D isnt just a normal girl.

how hard it could be to spend whole life accepting husband as only best friend and dont expect anything in return?

shaadi ke baad toh har aam larki chati hai usko pati ka pyar, saman, vishwas, aur bachein mile. chati hai ki ek parivar bane uske saat

how could Devki kill her emotions and desires of expecting these things from her pati?. is it aam thing to do?

she did refuse v's proposal when he confessed his everlasting mahan love for S -here we can say that any normal girl would do the same.

but later on she changed her mind due to some majburi and she reconsidered V proposal and married him.- here, we cant say that any aam larki would do the same that Devki did.

is sacrificing life in the name of marriage (for the sake of majburis) considered as normal thing to do??

how D can be called just a normal girl after all this.

commend your doubts.. but I wish you had sensed the SARCASM in my line.. i did not mean. .D is not capable of big and great things.. its the WAY she did it.. and her MANIFESTATIONS that make it come across as simple and normal.. much like Charu..😉 while Sabina SACRIFICES.. Devki merely ADJUSTS.. although they are essentially one and the same.. if tht makes it easy for you..

to most of your points I highlighted there is a disconnect in our perspectives.. D is a SMART girl.. she made those decisions consciously weighing the pros and cons.. when Charu asked her abt V later she said he had given her most of the things she did expect from her husband..

D has not SACRIFICED life.. in fact she has SCOOPED the most from what this change had to offer.. from IMV, charu, VV.. etc..

D hasnt KILLED HER EMOTIONS and DESIRES.. she developed some more emotions and desires as I see it.. in this matrimony..

Till now the compromise marriage wasnt a BURDEN for her.. when it became one.. she took a quick decision to forego it..

I guess NORMAL may have been a misnomer.. SIMPLE is more like it.. Ds gestures are rather simple although her spirit is extraordinary..

and yes the reference to Joan of Arc has the headline grabber underlined.. so while S will be the glamorous headline grabber.. D will be the underdog excellence.. and hence will get lost in the history books.. coz whats not sensational doesnt sell.. you have the CREATE tht aura.. either by projecting.. or as IMV said abt jimmy consciously playing hard to get.. had D projected either with V he wldnt be moping for S..reminds me of the movie Rules- pyar ka formula or w/e.. 😆 was rather cutely interesting

P.S I had to USE THT PRAYER SONG.. coz its SOOO CP.. when she told Ishwar.. tumne sab pe jeet hasil kar li.. bus apne aap se nahi jeet paye... sigh.. and in contrast.. D is sooo LIKE CP.. for her winning herself comes first.. day by day I see more of CP in D.. and it makes me more hopeful tht D holds the KEY.. he has fought for all life.. he searches for CP in Parimita.. while CP lies in D😃 sigh.. the thought is giving me goosebumps

Wonderful posts from both of u. Sonali loved the way u have anlysed IMV and Devki. As for Ba, yes I agree that she should have told D about all this in the beginning itself. Since she had hidden it at that time now why is she suddenly becoming honest and telling the truth.

so far as D is concerned I personally feel she is better off without VV. no point in being tied to a person who loves someone else and who claims that he will never ever be able to love her. Better that she puts all this behind her and moves on in life. I know its easier said than done but that's what life is all about I guess.

Devki has two choices in front of her...One is to accept the fact that V will never ever love her and that he loves only S and therefore set him free to live his life with the person he loves...and the other is to pretend she has not heard anything and continue her life as usual, hoping that one day things will be different and V may come to develop feelings for her...which at the moment seems most unlikely.

D being the strong girl that she is and righteous too will definitely opt for the first option. And she should definitely do that. No point in living in a fool's paradise that things may change. It would be better for her to make a clean break now itself as later on it would be even more difficult for her to do so. Lets see IMV's reaction to her decision.

yes yess feelingz mutual babes! n hence i think i equally enjoy ur entire Way of Being n wat comes from it...piece by piece to decipher a big beautifully complex picture, sorta like a spider's web isn't an ability Ingrained w/in all...i may show a part of the web here n there, but 2 take a step back n view the entire detailed intricate web carries a grand charm of its own...

keep that frontal lobe keeda going by all meanz & i pray a true Marcian comes along 2 proper appreciate this Venucian Gem n surround yet give illumined freedom;-)...lolz God knows if such "secure Marcians" even r in existence 2day, par nonetheless may i come across one as well hehehee
