Many states in this country have anti-abortion law. Mississippi is one such state. Back in 1973 there was an abortion case in that state( an exception where the lady had to abort, don't know the full details), the court had ruled her case as an exception, allowing her make the choice. A similar case now has been overturned by the supreme court, thus taking away the choice to abortion. That is what has agitated many, hence the protest.
If I am right, I think ~26 states in this country have anti-abortion law.
