Neeru Bajwa too big for her boots?

Neeru Bajwa may soon receive marching orders in Star Plus' prime-time daily Miilee. According to a source, "Neeru has too many nakhras and the production house is finding it difficult to tolerate that." The main bone of contention is that the actress is not giving sufficient time to the show.

Few days after the deluge in Mumbai subsided, Raman Kumar's daughter Radhika who controls a major part of production had a big showdown with Neeru. According to sources, "The showdown happened on the sets," and Radhika admits, "Garma garmi hui thi lekin phone par."

Radhika feels that Neeru is not giving justice to Miilee ever since she took up Zee TV's Kareena Kareena. "At times, she refuses to take our call. She has let us down. She is focussed largely on Kareena Kareena and is giving us date problems. She has become too big for her boots. This is grossly unethical and unprofessional. We have not tied her up or disallowed her from doing other projects, but we will not let her tantrums have an adverse effect on our show."

We might replace her

"If Neeru does not turn up on a given day, the whole schedule goes for a toss. We can't stand up for Neeru and explain to the senior actors that it's not her fault. Actors are set up in accordance of availability with each other. It is very unethical to see that other actors who are senior to Neeru have to wait and cool their heels until she arrives. And, I can't have a ten-day schedule dragging on for a month," Radhika adds.

Radhika says, "She refuses to wait for even 15 minutes extra. She will not don her make-up if she hasn't received her cheque." Radhika reveals that Raman Kumar, Vinta Nanda and herself have been talking about Neeru's replacement. Radhika says that they have finally decided to put their foot down, "If Neeru continues in the same vein, I surely don't want her."

However, Neeru claims, "Everything is hunky dory. I am the only actor in Miilee who arrives on time. Nobody has to wait for me. Radhika and I have not had any discussion or argument. I have nothing to do with Radhika except collect my cheque from her."
