Tulsi and Miilee to be seen in Kerala Tourism ad campaign The Big Bahu of television soap operas, Smriti Irani, who plays Tulsi of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and new comer Mona Wasu (plays the role of Miilee in Star Plus's Milee) will soon be seen on Star Plus in a series of advertisements endorsing the state of Kerala as a happening tourist destination.
Kerala Tourism is on one of its attempts to promote Kerala in the domestic market," says Kerala Tourism Minister Mr. K.C. Venugopal. He also went on to add that," It is part of an extensive campaign that targets domestic tourists and hopes the advertisements will boost visitor inflows during the 'off season' and strengthen the State's positioning as a year-round tourist destination. The campaign will have Mona Wasu (who seems to be keener on grabbing a seat in the Bollywood bandwagon than her current television status as lead in the show Miilee) in an advertisement talk about how ayurvedic holidays in Kerala revitalize her and help her cope with her busy schedule. Smriti on the other hand will appear in two short films talking about holidays along Kerala's backwaters and in the State's hill stations. Smriti has been doing theatre recently and acts in the Hindi play, Kuch Tum Kaho Kuch Hum Kaho alongside Apra Mehta who stars as her mother-in -law both onscreen and in the play too. | ||
