Way to go!! Way to go!!
Enjoying every bit of it!!! 😳 😊 😛
Aww Gosh; I'm so sorry guys!🤗
Next time I plan something like this I'll make sure it's as far away from exams as possible.😆
Ahem; Ahem - Rani, Rumi and Tanai; keep an eye on the jhoothe guys - the girls side are very sneaky.😉
Muhahaha; back with part two!😉
Shaadi; jhoothey and Abhi-Nabila romance!
[I'm the writer remember!😆]
A little rushed - showwy for that.😳
"Hi Simran!"
Nazmien bounced in to the room, smiling broadly as her heavy lengha swirled around her body; the light blue and soft gold embroidery catching under the lights and shimmering exquisitely. Two arms filled with golden bangle tinkled as she planted her hands on her hips and raised her brow at Simran's glum expression.
"What happened to her?"
The question was directed to Anam who had been sitting beside Simran, teasing her hair in to soft curls that framed her face. Anam laughed at the question; smoothing down her golden lengha that bordered on a creamy green and adjusted her heavy necklace.
"She's missing Ruhaan."
Both girls giggled at this whilst Simran momentarily broke out of her forlorn expression to throw a pillow at both of them. Just then Saneela rushed in to the room; sweeping her baby pink dupatta over her shoulder as she struggled not to trip over her matching lengha, intricately embroided with flowers of a slightly darker shade.
She squealed in delight at the sight of Simran dressed in a long, flowing golden and red lengha, matched with antique gold jewellery and heavy jhumars that caressed the side of her face. Her arms were filled with shimmering golden and red bangles that tinkled as she shifted in her seat impatiently.
Saneela grinned and announced that the bharaat was here. Immediately Simran rushed to the window and struggled to catch sight of Ruhaan amongst the rest of the bharaat, the girls laughed and pulled her away from the window; mock admonishing her before teasing her about what was to come. Simran blushed profusely and hid her face in her hands. the wedding could not be over sooner.
Half an hour later [but what seemed like an age to both Simran and Ruhaan] Naz, Saneela and Annie helped Kiran and Minnie to bring Simran down to the mandap. Ruhaan who had only been half listening to Rumi, Tanai and Rani's chatter, craned his neck to catch a sight of her until he was standing up and peering above the rest of the guests until he found her at the foot of the staircase. She was the most beautiful women he had ever seen and she was his. He beamed with that thought.
Suddenly Simran looked up and he held her gaze until it seemed like they were the only two present in the house overflowing with guests. The pandit called for the rasams to start and a blushing Simran was led to Ruhaan where they exchanged glances with Ruhaan discreetly winking at her all the time.
Kiran and Rajveer ushered to them towards the mandap where they sat side by side and Ruhaan gently took her hand [until Madhvi slapped it away and told him to concentrate on the pandit].
Abhi grinned at his brothers restlessness before searching the end of the mandap for Ruhaan's shoes. Rani had placed him on jhoothe watch and he was determined to take his role very seriously. Finally spotting them beside Sandheya Chachi; he made a beeline towards them but came to an abrupt stop as someone came in his way.
He gave a nervous smile to see Nabila standing coyly in front of him. She was dressed in an elegant tea pink ghagra teamed with diamond earrings and a small set of pink bangles that tinkled on her right arm.
"Hi Abhi,"
She gazed at him from under her lashes and Abhi tugged at the neck of his sherwani, smiling at her, equally bashful.
"Um, hi Nabila. You, ahem, look good."
He gestured towards her clothes and she blushed, thanking him before excusing herself. She brushed past him, the feel of her arm skimming over his giving of a tingling sensation which left him dazed for a few seconds before he realised what he had been looking for. He looked over to Sandheya chachi and realised with a frown that the jhoothe had gone missing. Behind him Nabila grinned and gave Annie a thumbs up who was sneaking towards the back of the room carrying a basket of flowers.
Tanai saw the exchange and smugly skipped of to join Rani and Rumi.
*****
Saneela, Tanai, Nabila, Rumi, Annie, Naz and Rani crowded around Ruhaan and Simran as he placed the mangalsutra around her neck. They Ooh-ed and Aah-ed with another shower of rose petals as the pandit announced that the marriage was now complete.
"YES!"
Ruhaan jumped up triumphantly, pulling Simran along with him before picking her up in his arms, the girls giggled as Simran hid her face in his neck. Ruhaan grinned broadly and strode towards the end of the mandap but frowned to see that his shoes were missing. He glared at Abhi who gave a sheepish smile. Finally his salis burst through guests carrying a basket of flowers and smirked at him.
"Paise dedo, jhoothe lelo jiju!"
Quipped Saneela. She grinned and fished through the flowers but was shocked to find the shoes missing.
"Hey; the shoes are gone."
"That's because we have them."
Ruhaan's side had also re-grouped and Rumi came forward with a similar basket of flowers, waving it under the salis noses before pushing the flowers aside. Rani frowned and emptied the flowers out on the floor but saw no sign of the shoes.
The girls looked at each other blankly as Ruhaan became impatient.
"Okay; whoever has my shoes give them quickly because Simran is getting heavier."
Simran glared at him and pushed herself out of his arms as Minnie timidly came forward; informing the girls that she had wanted to move the baskets out of the way which maybe why both sides picked up the wrong flower baskets. The girls gawped at her.
Lol; lame ending I know but now jhoothe are effectively missing!
Both sides want them so let's find them!😛
