Gaurav Khanna, the actor who plays the lead role in the famous TV serial Meri Doli Tere Angana, is going to quit the show very soon. The actor was doing well by performing the lead role in the serial and viewers also admire him. However, sources related to the production house of the serial have informed that producers are not willing to continue with him further.
While commenting on the issue, one of the sources from the production house of Meri Doli Tere Angana said that some disciplinary disputes are the main reasons behind such a decision of the producers to discontinue with Gaurav. According to the source, producers have alleged that Gaurav Khanna was reporting late to the sets for quite a long time and in recent times he had also started demanding for a body double to shoot his scenes for the serial. Now after the decision of axing Gaurav from the serial, producers have already started to look for a replacement that was Gaurav playing.
Sources from the Indian TV industry have informed that Gaurav Khanna is also doing another serial Santaan at the moment and according to them this may be another reason behind the dispute. However, when contacted and requested to say something about the matter, the actor said that he was having differences with some people within the production house and that was the main reason why he decided to quit the show. So it seems that there are definitely some serious disputes between the actor and the production house of Meri Doli Tere Angana that eventually resulted in the axing of Gaurav from the show.
