Agree 100% with u mysticbubbles (am glad we share similar thoughts, I just edited my prev post to write exactly the same thing about TRP!) and I think Rahul is one confused guy at the moment. He goes on to say that they were not interested in a generation leap, then why bring in this whole drama of killing Ru-Sim, they could have just eliminated Su from the show and carried on from there ... this is really, really very disappointing and am sure many of us feel cheated at the way the story is progressing.

You know, I think all his (Rahul Bhat's) words were aimed at promoting the new track.. I mean they have taken the plunge so they now want to back it up, despite any misgivings in their minds. In other words they want to portray this is the best thing that could have happened to make the viewers accept it. 😡

I too was a bit taken aback by his attitude towards the viewers, saying that being shocked is normal etc. He should take a few pointers from other successful TV shows on how they treat their viewers, BMTD for example. Either he is too much if a novice or very arrogant, either way Ru is the only saving grace in the new track and if his on-screen pairing with Sargam doesn't match up with Ru-Sim's, I think we may yet see Sim coming back.

Hey. I am new to this forum, but not new to MDTA. I also wish for Simran to come back, I was hoping to get answers here as to what is going on with the show.

Same here..New as well. i don't like the new storyline, I wish for Sim and Ru to come back, we need more romatic scenes. This girl and Ru are not a match at all

I can't understand Rahul's explanation - I mean how silly can one be, to imagine that if Ru-Sim are separated, the TRPs will improve. Doesn't he ever think logically? After a dhamaka, TRPs for the next week or so will always continue to be high as the viewers are curious and want to see what's gonna happen next. How can that ever be a measure of higher TRPs? 😡😡 This is common sense, and as a producer I thought Rahul should be aware of it.

I find it extremely annoying at this 'high-handed' attitude in taking the viewers for granted and assuming that changing the storyline will make things better. If anything, this is just gonna make the TRPs sink and Rahul will have just himself to blame for the failure of the serial.

Hey, don't give up so soon. We need to do our bit in trying to make Zee/Rahul Bhat change the plot back to original and bring back Ru-Sim. Let's first sign and send the petition and then give them a couple of weeks after that to see if they are going to act on our request or not.

Till then, hold on to those videos 😛
