The New girl could be Simran.old simran dies and New girl could be simran again but a different name and new personality.Ruhan will be saved somehow and they both will fall in love with eachother and will ruin Suhana's life.

Actually, I am thinking of an Option 4:

What if:

Simran dies from Suhana's bullet (sorry guys, had to let of go her old character, but do read on...). Ruhaan survives his fall, but is badly hurt and whoever rescues him treats him for a long time, and eventually he comes back home.

In the meantime, and before Ruhaan returns, Suhana thinks she can no longer get to the Oberoi wealth right away and goes away from them, scheming to come back in the future with a new plan.

Meanwhile there is a Simran look-alike elsewhere, happy in her own world who bumps into Ruhaan one fine day and and feels a strange connection to him! Ruhaan reeling from the loss of Simran is struck by her resemblance and there starts MDTA - 2.

This way the original cast of MDTA - 1 stays the same. In fact, I can even be a bit filmy, by making Sim2, Sim1's long lost twin sister. And when Sim1 died, Sim2 actually feels the pain and Sim1's atma rejoins her sister'. 😉

Awwww... don't feel so down NausheenFan there's still hope and resemblance will not be all that bad! 😊 Look at it this way, maybe the MDTA creatives realized that there's about 3-1/2 months left to their 1-year anniv and wanted to come up with something a lot more interesting content-wise so they can have a shot at an extension??

Nice option mysticbubbles, although I would call it Option 4, as I had already suggested an Option 3 😉

I watched the last scene many many times and something doesn't seem right - Bablu and Ru both constantly kept saying 'Don't shoot', almost as if they wanted Su to shoot. Also Bablu is a hardcore criminal, it was strange to see that he did not resist when Su threatened him and snatched the revolver from his hand. In fact he tamely let it go and allowed Su to overpower him ... somehow I can't digest this.

Same for Ru, I mean, by now Ru-Sim knew how evil Su could get, so what were they trying to do by telling her how they found out her plan and how they bought over Bablu to their side ... what were they expecting? Su would hear that, get angry and quietly walk away from their lives?

I feel there is more to it than meets the eye ... I know I'm still in denial about Ru-Sim dying and 'coz of that, keep looking for reasons to justify that they are not dead 😛

With regards to the last scene, I hear ya...but it could all be attributed to shortage of time and a weak plot-follow-thru by the creatives.

The other alternative is to think that all this was again someone's nightmare or an act... That's hard to prove, cause you can't deny there were some strong facts to indicate what happened was for real; like Ru's silent conversation with bablu and sim to turn tables on su and Ru's folks at home praying for his safety. And the strongest fact of all, the precap 😡!! Not to mention falling from a cliff certainly can't be part of an act ...

Trust me, if Ru-Sim continue to be Ru-Sim, I would be amongst the first to say Hallelujah, but sure feel there is a change coming up!

MDTA-2 track is interesting, but it would be sad to see the current Ru-Sim MDTA-1 track end so abruptly.

But yes, if it is not a dream but a plan, then the plan probably went awry and Ru actually slipped. He might then be missing for a while or he is found but loses his memory 😕

Let's just hope it's another dream... 😉
