JANUARY 22nd 2008 - WRITTEN UPDATE
HIGHLIGHTS:
Inder realizes her was dreaming about getting slapped, Arpita wonders why Inder is so tense
The Raghveers come to Oberoi House and Ru-Sim both think that they need to be very careful of Su and watch out for her evil plans
Inder gets a threatening call from Bablu
Su-Monish meet in private and Su tells him about her relationship with Ru and asks him to not tell anyone about her past
Inder asks Bablu for 2 more days to fulfill his demand and Arpita sees this
Monish tells everyone that he is not ready to marry Naina but refuses to give the reason for his rejection
Sim suspects Su to be behind Monish's rejection and Su again challenges Sim saying that she can never be successful in sending her out of the house

Arpita-Inder Room
Inder wakes up with a start and realizes that he was dreaming. Arpita asks him as to why he is so tense and he says its nothing. She insists on knowing but Inder doesn't tell her anything. She says 'In the morning someone called and since then u've been tense. Swear on me and tell me all's well' and Inder says 'Its nothing, I dozed off in the chair and had a bad dream, that's why u feel that I look tense'. He leaves saying he will wash his face and Arpita thinks 'Now I am convinced that there is something that is making him so tense, but why is he hiding it from me? What could it be?'. She looks worried.
Oberoi House-Hall
It's evening and Raghuveer, his wife Ranjana and son Monish come to Oberoi House and are warmly welcomed by the Oberois.
Ru-Sim Room
Ru is getting ready in his room and thinks 'I don't know why I feel that Su gonna play a very big game, I need to be very very careful'. He thinks about Su (flashback of Su threatening Ru-Sim that she will make Ru her husband and will kill Sim is shown).
Arpita-Inder Room
Inder is shown talking to Bablu (in mute) and Bablu keeps brandishing a knife while talking. Inder looks very worried.
Suhana's Room
Su is in her room in front of the mirror thinking and Arpita comes in and says she looks so pretty that Monish may lose his senses seeing her and tells her that the Raghuveer family have come and asks her to come down. Su tells her 'U go, I'll come in 5min' and Arpita leaves. Su tells herself 'I have to make some plan and prevent this alliance from getting any further. Today this alliance should break even before it starts'.
Sim comes in and calls out to Su and both women stare at each other. Sim has a sarcastic smile on her face and Su says 'U look very happy' and Sim says 'I'm happy for u'. Su asks 'Happy? For me or for the fact that I will leave this house soon?'. Sim says 'Whatever u think' and Su says 'Ok, let's assume that u genuinely feel happy for me, so thanks for that. Anyway, I need blessings … so that I get my true happiness'. Sim asks 'If u are not yet ready, can I help u get ready?' and Su replies 'No thanks, u can leave'. Sim looks exasperated and says 'Everyone's waiting for u downstairs, come soon' and leaves. Su keeps staring.
Oberoi House-Hall
Everyone is talking and Naresh and Raghuveer talk about their times together. Sim brings in refreshments and Madhvi asks her to go and bring Naina downstairs, since everyone is waiting for her. Sim is about to go when SC volunteers to go and leaves. Sim thinks 'I have to keep an eye on both SC and Su. They both will start some game to stop this alliance, they might surely be planning something right now'.
Oberoi House-Upstairs
SC goes up and meets Su and asks 'Are u ready? I was coming to u, everyone is waiting for u in the hall'. Su says 'Chachi, one minute, good u came here alone to meet me, I need to say something important to u'. She says something to SC (in mute) and SC has her evil smile.
Oberoi House-Hall
Inder gets a call and Bablu again threatens him, Inder tries telling him that its difficult to arrange for the money but Bablu disconnects the call and Inder starts looking worried. Ru comes there and asks Inder if all's well and Inder tells him everything's fine and Ru leaves.
Su comes with SC and Monish and his family look at her, all smiles.
Inder keeps pacing up and down in another part of the hall and thinks 'For the sake of Arpita's safety, I will have to follow Bablu's orders or he will come here to kill her and if something happens to Arpita, then I will not be able to live. No, I will not let any harm befall her and will not let anything happen to her and my child'. He looks pensive and leaves.
~BREAK~
Oberoi House-Hall
Naresh tells everyone 'I think that we should leave Naina and Monish alone so that the can talk to each other' and asks Su to take Monish to her room. They both leave while Ru and Sim look happily at each other.
Outside Oberoi House
Inder asks the security guy to leave and waits for Bablu to arrive. He thinks 'I don't know if Bablu will give me more time or not, but somehow I will have to make him leave soon, else if someone sees me with him, there will be a problem'. Bablu comes and says 'I think u don't love your wife and kid'. Inder pleads for mercy and says he's trying but can't arrange so much money at such short notice but Bablu doesn't listen and gets annoyed, threatening to kill Arpita. Arpita opens the window and looks out. Bablu continues 'After I kill her, u can keep feeling sad at her death and keep cursing me'. Inder falls at his feet and begs him to not harm Arpita and says he will try his best to meet his demands. Arpita watches all this and Bablu says 'Today I will either take the money from you or will kill your wife, u can't make me a fool anymore'. Arpita looks stunned and Inder asks for 2 more days and says 'If I don't meet your demands within 2 days, then u can hack me to pieces'. Bablu grudgingly agrees and threatens Inder again that he will kill Arpita if the money is not arranged in time. He leaves and Inder looks worried.
Suhana's Room
Su tells Monish 'U are from a good family and seem to be a honest, sincere person so I will not cheat you. Every person has a past and I too have one, u may have one too'. Monish laughs and asks 'What kind of past?' and Su says 'Past as in past affairs, u may have had some affair with a girl in the past' and Monish says he has no such past. Su says 'Ok, let me assume that u are speaking the truth, but can u bear to hear the truth about my past? I have a past, it's a relationship that I very deeply and intensely believed in and completely surrendered myself to it but unfortunately it could not meet a good end. But today also, that relationship means a lot to me, I'm still living that relation, so I don't know whether under such circumstances, I will be able to do justice to u and to this marriage'. Monish looks shocked. Su continues talking (in mute) and flashback of the Ru-Su seduction scene is shown. Monish stares at her in shock.
Oberoi House-Hall
Ru-Sim are talking and Sim tells Ru 'Ru, know Su will not accept this alliance so easily' and Ru says 'I know, Sim but I don't understand one thing. Why did Su agree to talk to Monish in private?'. Sim replies 'It was under compulsion, she did it in order to appear innocent before Mummyji-Papaji but I know very well that she will definitely stop this alliance'. They both look worried.
Suhana's Room
Su tells Monish 'I have been very honest with u about myself and my past' and Monish says 'I appreciate your honesty'. Su folds her hands in front of him and says 'I know that after knowing all this, u may not want to marry me, do me a favor, when u reject me, pls don't tell anyone about the real reason, pls don't reveal to anyone that u are rejecting me 'coz I told u everything about my past. Pls, it's a request'. Monish says 'I understand your plight, don't worry, I will give such a reason for my rejection that your name doesn't get tarnished'. He leaves and Su has her evil smile and tells herself 'U can't get me out of this house so easily, Sim'.
~BREAK~
Oberoi House-Hall
All are talking in the hall when Monish walks in. and prepare to leave. Naresh asks Monish 'So what is your opinion about Naina? You will tell us your decision now or do u need some more time?' and he says 'I will tell u now, there is no doubt that Naina is a very nice and honest girl but I am sorry, I cannot marry her, I don't agree to this alliance'. Everyone looks shocked while SC smirks and Monish's parents ask if he has a specific reason for rejecting Naina or has he made this decision in haste and he says 'No, I have thought well about it but I can't give u the reason for my rejection right now'. Ru-Sim look pensive and Raghuveer tells Naresh 'Sorry friend, it's a question of our children's life and we cannot force them'. They take their leave and Madhvi-Naresh look sad. Sim keeps wondering and leaves.
Suhana's Room
Sim enters Su's room very purposefully and calls out to her. Su says 'So u've come' and smiles sarcastically at Sim. Sim looks angry and says 'Su, I knew u have …' and Su says 'U knew, right? U knew that I would win in the end? Then why did u needlessly try to see me off this house? U wasted everyone's time and that poor Monish, inspite of being so close to a beautiful girl like me, he couldn't get me and it broke his heart. Anyway, today u would've understood one thing, that u can never win. U sure did bring me into this house, but leaving this house will be my own decision and as of now, I have so such plans of leaving. And one more thing, forget about making me leave this house'. She smirks and Sim stares at her angrily.
Episode ends on Simran's face.
Precap: Sim is walking and as she nears Su's room, she hears Su saying 'Hello, Monish?'. She stops and eavesdrops on the phone conversation and looks shocked.
Episode Rating: 5.5/10. Inder is trapped well and truly. It's good to see that both Ru and Sim are keeping a constant watch over Su's movements. The precap promises an interesting episode tomorrow.
