Ruhaan used to love Suhana but thought she died, so he marries Simran but on his wedding day he finds out Suhana is alive but later finds out Suhana has married someone else so he deciides to start afresh with Simran. Ruhaan's Chachi and brotheri n law try seperating Ruhaan and Simran so they can have all the property, they try but fail, Simran and Inder's wife Arpita find out Inder and Ruhaans chachi are evil and foil their plans. Ruhaan and Simran fall in love and consumate their marriage but then Suhana returns, she believes Ruhaan is her husband, she's met Simran and has become a close friend of hers but is yet to meet Ruhaan.

Simran's parents are dead and was raised by her chacha and chachi, her chacha worked with Ruhaan as Ruhaan helped him when he was finacially troubled, Ruhaan's brother Abhishek also works with Ruhaan but Inder uses him and gets him to appoint an engineer who is dodgy, the building which Ruhaan's vcompany were building collapses and Inder is behind this, Simran's chacha finds out and Inder kills him but makes it look as if Abhishek is responisble. Abhi arrested but gets bailed, and now the story is out that abhi is adopted and Sandheya has used this to create rifts between ruhaan and Abhi which results in Abhi leaving the house

Abhi proves his innocence and returns home. recently Rajveer and Kiran had some guests staying in their house who continued to stay after rajveers death, they tricked Kiran into selling the house and got her to sign the house over to them but Naina managed to prevent them from taking the house

the last episode i saw was after the party in the house and Simran gets drunk but the family is proud of her since she tells them that she loves the family so much and blah blah

and Ruhaan and Simran have a non-love relationship so i was kinda confused about that too?😕
