At first when he badmouthed Rishi I thought that he is just an overprotective father. But the way he behaved in the roka is just unacceptable. You can't say I have made a mistake by saying yes. In real life that will call for a big mess.
Moreover This man has no regard for others feeling. Most men don't like tamjham not even at their children's wedding. But they don't behave like this man. He is becoming more disgusting day by day.
At first I thought this will bring some comic relief in the show but the writers have made this track seriours.

Let's wait for the Monday episode... Why to jump into conclusions, just by that 30 second promo? I mean, there must have been a reason why is behaving so obnoxiously.
Also, another thing, many times, specifically in cases like this, men tend to compare their second wife with their first wife. That's their mentality... And someone was telling why didn't he discuss all this with Guneet before. Was he given the time? No... As soon as people got to know about their relationship, everyone started preparing for the wedding. And this is totally Nia's fault. Within one or two days of finding out about their relationship, she started with all that arrangements...
From now on, everything that AmNeet do together, Ambar will compare her with Anjali. That is definitely going to happen. It is upto Guneet, how she takes care of the problem. Would she leave him immediately, or will she try to change herself, or will she change his thoughts about her (in the right way). In my opinion, Guneet should change his thoughts and definitely prove to him, what he said was wrong...
And also, second marriage is not a piece of cake. It cannot be perfect, specifically when people reach a particular age. And with a man like Ambar, it's difficult for any woman to stay. If you all put yourself in Ambar's shoes, probably you would understand. I told it before to somebody else as well, calling Ambar disgusting is not right. He is that kind of a man who has never experienced emotions. He needs someone to help him out (And Nia is definitely not helping out)... Only Guneet can. And since it's his first time, he is messing big time...

And that's because, he has never had any EMOTIONAL SUPPORT. He had no one to tell him, what he is doing is wrong. His daughter, is spending her own life. Imagine, she was ready to go to US, leaving such amazing father of her's alone... All he needs, is a partner who can bring that messy and troubled brain and mind, back on track....

I think thats a fair point. It is natural to feel disquiet about the pomp & sho-sha when one feels past the age (& everyone arnd him including sasuma, Swara, wedding planner are rubbing it in) plus having a child of marriageable age - in a regular situation he wld hv been arranging all this for his daughter.

Ambar is one man! He doesn't know what emotions are, unfortunately. And, staying with such a man, is difficult. Unfortunately, he doesn't understand about other's happiness. He feels, being married for the second time should not involve any 'loud' decoration... And that's kind of upsetting... When an individual reaches a particular age, they tend to act weirdly. Basically, old age has crept up. But, yes, he needs to adjust for Guneet's sake.
But his situation is understandable. He feels, after a certain age all of this, is of no use...

I agree with you. Amber wanted to communicate to Guneet that he didn't want this tham-jam, but Nia had said, shaadi mein ladkiyon ke armaano ko just Dena chahiye, he shut up, he thought he would be fine. He was fine too (a little) until the point the dhol thing started. Let's wait for monday.
I agree that Amber didn't want big fat indian wedding but not once did he think about what Guneet wanted. Ok it's his second marriage but it's Guneet's first marriage she will want to fulfill all the wedding dreams and he should and needs to understand that.
And coming to the precap although I would wait for it to play out but the most important thing is how Amber compare Anjali and Guneet the tone in which he says. If he says in a taunt manner then Guneet should blast on him publicly since he could say it in front of everyone.
