From the very beginning it was shown that she is sad because of her money loss and betrayal from previous boyfriend , She was not happy with the Doctor . only time she was shown happy was when she was chatting with NDP.

Guneet is called a happy person because she took even worst situation positively. She was betrayed and lost money but didn't lost trust in people and her positivity. She was carefree. Lived life on her terms. Her character was very happy character in the beginning of the show. Somehow it lost that arc in between.
