I see your point but I have to wonder if Swara was aware of Kabirs feelings for Nia when she asked him out

Given the tensions between those 2, Swara knows she is second to Nia...and that Kabir has deeper feelings for Nia than Swara

I just wonder how many different ways and times we as the audience are gonna see Kabir get rejected by Nia. I personally feel that his other friend is more his stride and objectively a better match. Kabir is mature and has a very strong emotional head on his shoulders. He’s intense yes, but he’s known Nia for a long time and more than that he’s been SURE of his feelings for her. I can imagine he would believe this is someone he could spend the rest of his life with because he knows her so well. I really wish the writers would stop being so wishy washy with this plot line. I agree. I'm tired of watching Kabir's emotions being stomped on. I'm tired of seeing him trailing after Nia like a stray puppy, hoping to be adopted. Sorry puppy, just because she throws you some scraps every now and then doesn't mean she'll take you home. Actor gives good expressions, I couldn't help but sympathize with him. He poured his heart out to Nia, and what did he get in return? Some blank expressions and wishy-washy non-answers. And then her conversation with Kajal, what do you mean you don't know how Kabir feels? Isn't it obvious? Either you like Kabir that way or not. You stopped dating because you're too busy and wanted to focus on your career? What BS! She simply doesn't like him enough to be serious, while Kabir actually fell in love. I wonder if Ambar knows Nia was dating Kabir at some point and if he had anything to do with them breaking it off. He's certainly protective about any guy eyeing his daughter, I can't imagine he approved. Why is Nia suddenly acting like a teenager, gazing off into the distance, being distracted? I don't remember her being like this with Randeep, and she was actually attracted to him. It just feels so fake. I've said it before, but Swara is more suited for Kabir. He is an adult. He knows what he wants and doesn't want to waste time fooling around. Nia is still a kid, unsure of herself and her desires. She is unwilling to commit to any kind of romantic relationship. We saw that with poor Randeep. I don't see Nia being mature enough to be paired with anyone at this point.

Ambar had a happy marriage himself. Isnt it selfish of him not to want his daughter to get married? Clearly he can see Kabir is a stable decent guy with good job & grt manners. Which parent will fob off such a damaad prospect?
