Love in Friendship is actually more forgiving than love in a romantic relationship until they become husband wife and then it’s more forgiving again. This is becos I think the depth and expectations are different.

When it comes to the issue of “deserving” in the end it depends on equality like everyone here has brought out...but then it also depends on expectations met and unmet..and the depth is built on that I suppose...this is why I think it IS important to label relationships...but maybe I am going on a tangent here..but what I mean is

In our eyes, we look at them as a couple to define the deserving part, but maybe since they are friends we will never say deserving or not...becos friendship has no such limitations...in a friendship I can tell a friend “dude better do your bit” and the next day, we are back to being normal again in a romantic relationship it’s different.

Well, u r right. I was talking abt romantic relationship. As nia randeep have matching wavelength, so let them be couple n Kabir get a girl who really value her.

But by seeing yesterday episode, i feel even their friendship is not honest. Lets say Nia was also right from her side, may be she will develop a new app n bcm much successful. But Kabir was also right as being a sensible person. But Nia doesn't want honest friendship. Wo kabir se question bhi karti hai, Kabir ka answer bhi khud hi decide karti hai. Aur agar uska answer match nahi karta to firse kabir ko blame karo.. she wants him like ha me ha milao wala friend. Thats not fair as a friend also..

I think you make a very valid point, but then here I would also say ki agar Kabir bhi apne aap ko Nia ka dost manta then he would like a friend pull up Nia and tell her..”yaar Teri problem kya hai? Tu chahti kya hai?” But instead becos he is a guy hoping to be more than a friend, he often overlooks this, making him in a way dishonest in the relationship too. I know I may come across as being too harsh on him, but the fact is that ...this cannot be only from Nia’s perspective which I agree she takes her friend for granted, which friendship mei there is lot of leeway for it, but Kabir not standing up for himself also puts his actions in a question mark....

I am kind of agreeing with you, but I am also saying “deserve” is something that can only happen when both are on a relationship that demands equal footing, here that is not the case. For Nia, Kabir is a friend ...for Kabir, Nia is more than that.. their actions towards each other are not on equal standing...then the aspect of deserve is difficult to judge.,

Am I making sense??

Characters appearing and disappearing, "one chutki me" is one of the signs of Ekta serials. Entire point of watching MDKD is to escape that trope.

If They can easily change the character of anurag to fit the amber-Gurneet narrative then anything is possible. I was really hoping it turns out to b like korean dramas where many do get the second lead syndrome.

hope they don't change kabir's character to make way for randeep-nia. They can surely show different layers of personality but they don't have to make him grey.

Don’t hold your breath. They have already reduced the sweet witty Shree to a credit-grabbing opportunist & the loyal bff Kajal to a spineless bystander. Next is the stellar Kabir’s turn - even as I type they must be scripting a spectacular fall from grace for him.

This happens with coworkers ...they do backstab each other but with Shree I feel he got frustrated with Kabir protecting Nia and giving her preference because of his romantic feelings. Nia always running off to handle her personal emergencies would get her fired at any other company.

How is Kajal spineless ? She tried to calm Nia down but she is a worker there like everyone else

All characters can’t always be 100% good in a show because just like real life people have flaws.

So a person who was there from the beginning of the show is not needed to be discussed while a useless, good for nothing character can be replaced 🙄, the ideology I tell you. Khair.

@shree I think it's a survival of the toughest. He did what he was asked to do. It was out and out Nia 's fault. If he knows the job and was asked to, so I don't see the big deal. If shree had plotted against Nia got her out of the presentation and shit, I would have detested him but here it's ok.

In Indian serials which hardly have a week long back up , anything can happen anytime .

Of course , we can and should discuss all characters , but it will be frustrating to see characters we appreciate get written off .

The way it happened in another Sony serial where main leads were suddenly cut off .

In a normal situation when a woman comes to know that boss is in love with her and if she does not love him , she should try to move to another job. Finally Nia is doing that .
