Nia's showdown at office

Few things I noticed with Nia's showdown at office !

1. Who keeps the phone on loud ringer specially when one is at such an "important " presentation with so called board of directors?

2. Kajal could have waited for a few minutes before rushing to inform Nia on her dad's achievement of police arrest. May be she over evaluated the situation. It wasnt a medical emergency that one had to run without saying a word.

3. Nia takes things for granted with Kabir, this proved as a tight slap to make her face the reality that work is not about disciplining her 2 year old like dad who behaves worse than a toddler at times.

4. Hakim friend knew Nia was going for an important meeting, he should have called Kabir and weighed the situation first before asking Nia to rush urgently.

Overall immaturely handled script. Outcome Nia resigned, if not fired.

All your points occured to me as well while watching the epi. It is tough for any thinking audience member to not think about these things but I doubt the CVs are bothered about this much detailing.

The Doc friend is a grown man for heaven's sake, he couldn't just follow Amber to the police station, wait till it was sorted out and then inform Nia afterwards? What can Nia coming there achieve? Whatever Nia did at the station, the friend couldn't do?

Nia definitely takes Kabir for granted. This was a good wake up call for her that her life, her work, her friendships will all be ruined if she doesn't stop running at the drop of a hat to bail out her dad or hold his hand when he needs it. I mean he is 50 not 80. There is no excuse of ill health or elderliness that he needs her around all the time and for everything.

I so agree, for the 1st time I felt even the Dr friend was immature in that situation.

My blood was really boiling when I finally was able to catch the episode this morning. Thank you!!

I didn’t like Nias behaviour with Kabir ..the dude did his best to balance the situation and covered Nia quite a few times

She really needs to apologize to Kabir

As for Hakim well I think he called Nia because she is the only one that can pacify Amber as he was all worked up. Hakim tried to handle Amber and the situation prior to Pami breaking her hand but he can only say or do so much as a friend.

the ringer thing bugged me also ...during meetings I always keep my phone on silent and should I forget I immediately apologize and turn it off.

I don’t think the script was immature though ...there are people who would get emotional and behave like Nia and quit on the spot. She felt betrayed by Kabir (which we know isn’t right but it’s human nature to lash out ). Kajal maybe panicked thinking something major had happened and told Nia right away. Nia is overprotective of her dad and knows his knack for getting into sticky situations and so she ran out .
Keep in mind only the audience knew the situation ...not Nia or her coworkers. We also know how nasty Indian police can be I.e torture tactics etc ...if I was in India and my parent got arrested I would freak out also tbh

There were a few mistakes or detail missed but I found it relatively relatable and still ALOT better than the shit shown and details missed on Starplus shows

Nia should have been sacked tbh. She has taken everything for granted. Expect everyone to pamper her, and stick by her rules and regulations. Treats kabir like shit.

Honestly most of us think twice to take "a day off" and lo g leave ke liye barson pehle apply karna padta hai.

Which la la land is this office of Nia where she can just walk in and walk out?

Nia and amber are so alike, all they do is bas order ppl around them.

Bang on. I only feel sorry for her when she gets into sticky situations due to her dad. But the way she treats kabir, it doesnt go down at all. This poor guy has put up with a lot of baap beti tamasha and did everything he could to fix both of their lives. What sri did was backstabbing, but going by the track this was so much needed for Niya to come back to senses of how the work is affected dueto her callous attitude.

I totally agree with all of your points, It wasn't medical emergency or life threatening situations that kajol came inside ? And what Nia was thinking she can walk out with all the info and important documents and work laptop and leave? seriously people, I really liked how Kabir told her the office or work place laws!!

I know It's a tv show but there should be some limits to show something, like I can't stand Guneet's mom and Amber's childishness!! But overall I really like the show coz all the characters are doing so good and their wardrobes, makeup, and jewelries are so normal and realistic.

And I was thinking and accepting more of online chatting and they should get more attack to each other and know more each other!! Because Amber Sharma was already so much fall in love with Guneet so he just told her how much he will love her yesterday's precap ( he probably will change this in a different way)??

Sympathy is the last thing she needs after the way she treated kabir and her friend. I get it the guy was wrong. But heck who said work place was a chit chat and nap session with chai. She is a selfish, self centered pampered brat.
