They really need to differentiate between the drama and Islam.with a disclaimer as per u mentioned .. And what's shown is nowhere close to Islam.

to be honest, i didn't know and expected all of it. it was manal's fb status by which i came to know and it was Manal for the first time who told me about it when i was not watching show. i tried to catch up with the show online as i don't have enough time to watch shows in routine and it was verifying all her doubts.

there are many more points but i just highlighted some of it.

off course the show is nowhere close to islam

you are right, y i especially high lighted about islam is that, its all being portrayed on the name of Muslims

yes it does effects people's vision and i seriously didn't know that they are mulslims after watching all this, the impression which comes in my mind is that they didn't bother to go through islamic teachings even once and are mulism only by name.

and i am not a person to bash a show i don't really follow ...also some parts of it could have been passed as creative liberties had the PH not repeatedly advertized QH as "a show which will show Islam in a new light" or something to that effect, even before its commencement! It is wrong to drag religious sentiments and portray them in a wrong manner for entertainment especially when TV is hugely influential and common people like us are bound to get a false impression!
i am not saying that there are no social evils...every community has its own set of problems. but when the show is advertised as something which will change perception, they ought to be responsible!

TBH they did not have such a wrong regressive approach in IPK excluding dadi! however here, they have advertised it as a "myth breaker" but have got the portrayal wrong most of the times! Gul Khan failed in showcasing the beauty of her own culture!!

Cinema liberties doesn't mean to portray some religious group in a wrong way as you have mentioned all of above are not preached by islam. i didn't know that they have advertised it as a "myth breaker" perhaps their knowledge is so much limited that they didn't know any thing.

the show on the name of muslims is like an abuse and is leaving a very wrong impact on the viewers mind who are in millions. We can approach only few online people here but we can't go to each viewer telling its just a ficitonal show and has to do nothing with islam.

good and bad people are in every community and if there may be some people like this we can't put all the mulsims in the same line as we can't put all the hindus in the same line for the worst dehli gang rape case in last days.

I highly doubt that Gul Khan is also a muslim after watching all this portrayal after watching all this, rest Allah knows.
