gosh u r soo right nd did the right thing to open this thread QH isdisplaying the wrong concept of muslims atleast they should know about someone's religion before making sumthing about it its a totaly abuse!

whatever they are showing is happening in society , good they are showing , but the show should not use the tag line muslim drama ..agree with you

Assalam u ALaikum nice..post wana add a point ...Zoya always says the salam in a qwrong way she says Salalekum...which changes the actual meaining i hav made a post fr it also but hope they shd atleast pay heed to this basic knowledge

I dont watch the show, but the above listed is just not DONE. Just not DONE. Everything that you have written above is relatable, to other shows, with similar scenes like that in Geet and IPK, but this is different. Though no religion allows forced marriages, they should in the light of it, atleast post a disclaimer that the things shown don not reflect our values, our culture, our beliefs as Muslim and followers of Islam.

Although I don't watch QH, a friend of mine used to. She's practices Islam & once told me, things pretty much along the same lines. She was angry, as her mom too pointed a few of the points stated by the TM, to her. She I guess, boycotted the show altogether after that.

Although I didn't encourage her to watch it, but did think within if she was only being too critical or rather is over reacting. But no. It's sad, if the show has been portraying a religion wrongly after, specifying it to be a drama knitted along the lines of a particular religious group, which is Islam in this case.

I hope the PH acknowledges the criticisms with humility & are gracious enough to rectify them. If not, they don't deserve people's support. Cause TV shows are all about TRPs anyway & by watching, people only contribute to it & support it indirectly.

First Of all hats off to you for making this post.. I totally respect you for makin this..
If this was What was posted on the web page saying Its a muslim social drama , They should completely respect the opinions and follow What the religion says and preaches.. If you dont Then you are sending a wrong message to the viewers and this is not acceptable at any cost..
Every religion has Its own traditions and rights which are respected ..
If the show is potraying something which is not there in the religion , Then i think necessary things should be done to get things right..

They should put a disclaimer and change Whats written on the web page!

i agreee with whatever you said and i must agree that the producers-directors are not aware of our religion and i was also gonna send them some mails for so they may change few things maybe 😳
if you don't mind can i send your topic to them ? well , to be honest : i watch the show everyday and i actually like but i am undoubtely hurt by those mistakes which are maybe "unintentional yet big and serious " 😳 i seriously don't want our religion to be used with "profits & advantages " for the show 😕

i was actually happy to have a show with a muslim background but anyhow don't want islam to be mis-used :(
