I announce you #Northern that I have finally managed to join an Arabic language discussion forum . Unfortunately, there is the usual problem that you can't write right away, but you have to wait a bit. Hopefully not too much. And let's hope I don't get kicked out right away.
This is the Arabic Language Policy Forum.
As you can see, I only have two hands, but I try to reach everywhere. And you #Northern, are you devising a way to make use of the tools you have been given? Or are you making the same mistake that so many in here are making, which is you staying at the window, to see how it ends? (1)
1) From my Sacred Reference Text:
It will be like a man who, going on a journey, called his servants and gave them his possessions. [15] To one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability, and departed. [16] He who had received five talents immediately went and employed them and earned five more. [17] So also he who had received two, he gained two more. [18] But he who had received one talent went and dug in the ground and hid his master's money. [19] After a long time the master of those servants returned, and wanted to settle accounts with them. [20] He who had received five talents presented five more, saying, Lord, you gave me five talents; behold, I have earned another five. [21] Well done, good and faithful servant, his master said to him, you have been faithful in a little, I will give you authority over much; partake of your master's joy. [22] Then the one who had received two talents came and said, Lord, you gave me two talents; see, I earned two more. [23] Well done, good and faithful servant, answered his master, you have been faithful over a little, I will give you authority over much; partake of your master's joy. [24] Finally the one who had received one talent came, he said: Lord, I know you are a hard man, who reaps where you have not sown and reaps where you have not scattered; [25] out of fear I went to hide your talent in the ground; here is yours. [26] The master answered him: Wicked and slothful servant, did you know that I reap where I have not sown and I gather where I have not scattered; [27] you should have entrusted my money to the bankers and so, returning, I would have collected mine with interest. [28] Therefore take away the talent from him, and give it to him who has the ten talents. [29] For to everyone who has, more will be given, and there will be plenty; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. [30] And the servant slacker throw him out into the darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
