At some point a kind of waiter will arrive (hopefully more than one) who will tell you: - Lunch is ready! -
Knowing what a refusal entails, don't be stupid enough to reject the offer. Instead, the smartest thing to do is print more invitations right away. (1)
1) From my Sacred Reference Text:
Jesus resumed speaking to them in parables and said: [2] «The kingdom of heaven is like a king who gave a wedding feast for his son. [3] He sent his servants to call the guests to the wedding, but they would not come. [4] he Again he sent other servants to say: Behold I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fattened animals have already been slaughtered and everything is ready ; come to the wedding. [5] But they paid no heed to it, and went some to their own fields, some to their own business; [6] others then took his servants, insulted them and killed them.
[7] Then the king was indignant and sent his troops, killed those murderers and burned their city. [8] Then he said to his servants: The wedding feast is ready, but the guests were not worthy; [9] go now to the crossroads and call everyone you find to the wedding. [10] Going out into the streets, those servants gathered as many as they found, good and bad, and the hall was filled with guests. [11] The king went in to see the diners and, seeing a man who was not wearing a wedding dress, [12] he said to him: Friend, how could you enter here without a wedding dress? And he fell silent. [13] Then the king commanded the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and cast him out into the darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. [14] For many are called, but few are chosen."

On the guests who do not accept
[15] One of the guests, having heard this, said to him: "Blessed is he who will eat bread in the kingdom of God!". [16] Jesus answered, "A man gave a large supper and made many invitations. [17] At supper time, he sent his servant to say to the guests: Come, it is ready. [18] But they all unanimously began to apologize. The first said: I have bought a field and I must go and see it; please consider me justified. [19] Another said: I have bought five pairs of oxen and am going to try them; please consider me justified. [20] Another said: I have taken a wife and therefore I cannot come. [21] When he returned, the servant reported all this to his master. Then the owner of the house, irritated, said to the servant: Go out immediately to the squares and streets of the city and bring here the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame. [22] The servant said, Lord, it has been done as you commanded, but there is still room. [23] The master then said to the servant: Go out into the streets and along the hedges, push them to enter, so that my house is filled. [24] Because I tell you, none of those men who were invited will taste my supper.
