Pallavi did not forgive Raghav so easily it took Raghav's redemption for Pallavi to forgive him. As for your second point I agree!!

she did it for what raghav did to her...

raghav in the whole neighbourhood defamed her, aacused her of spending 19 - 20 nights with him, accused her of getting the shop in return of having s*x with him, threw money on her, pointed fingers straight on her character, then sent her brother to jail, married her forcefully all this just for a misunderstanding.

the redemption was good... but for whatever he did it was a little short...

That's just the tail end of the list of Raghav's actions that Pallavi just shrugged off. What real person would want to live in the same house with someone who knocked her off her scooter (let alone set her property on fire), someone who cornered her at night (let alone threatened to run over her with his car and smash her mobile phone), someone who carried her out of her house at night (let alone tied her up in front of a truck), someone who threatened to bulldoze her workplace (let alone kept her shivering for hours), someone in whose guest room she woke up, not knowing how he had touched her while she was unconscious and he didn't inform her family (even if she's mistaken about him kidnapping her), someone who stole her wares and replaced them with offensive products, made a frivolous complaint, produced knockoffs of her design to steal her customer, blacklisted her business, sent an illegal eviction notice, denied her the use of legally rented space, disrupted her marketing by trespassing in her home (she doesn't know that he intruded in her bedroom while she was dressing), padlocked and spraypainted her workplace door, and later stole the key, someone who got her lawyer (her brother's trusted friend) to hand over a valuable document, someone who drove her father to attempt suicide, gave him a second heart attack, and tried to stop payment on the check that paid his hospital bills ... did I forget anything?

How does Pallavi not have worse panic attacks than Raghav, or post-traumatic stress disorder, or other psychological problems after going through all of that? Is Pallavi a robot?

It was nice that Raghav felt remorse for punishing the wrong person (while forgetting everything else that he did to her), and he tried for a few days to fix what he broke, but it wasn't an effective redemption. Raghav never acknowledged that he had hurt Manasi (by ruining her wedding), Nikhil (by sending him to jail), and Vijay (by defaming his business and his daughter), thereby hurting Milind and Sharada indirectly; Raghav only approached that "bunch of crazy egoistic people" to get what he wanted: their acceptance of Pallavi. Raghav quickly fell back into his habit of mistreating Pallavi (gagging her and slinging her over his shoulder, saying that her husband was lucky to die before she drove him to suicide, lashing out at her while drunk). As soon as he told Pallavi about his tragic past, Raghav's redemption was abandoned and Pallavi's only purpose on the show was to excuse or forgive Raghav for everything.

That I agree!! But in his redemption he was ready to go to the extreme to point of sacrificing his own self respect just to make up for the harm he did to her!! it tells a lot about his character!!

Totally agree with you raghav ne pallavi ke sath jo kuch kiya tha that was not a small thing and even though raghav later admitted his mistake and tried sincerely to rectify it but bcs of that what about the humiliation that the deshmukh family and pallavi had to go through in front of everyone? I think makers should not have taken this matter so lightly i mean pallavi should not have forgiven him so quickly and easily and just as raghav has raised his finger on pallavi,s character in front of everyone he should have accepted his mistake in front of everyone and told the truth

And redemption track start toh bahut ache se hua tha but after some time raghav ka again attitude me pallavi se baat karna during necklace incident and in drunken state throwing money at her i dont like it i think instead of these scenes makers ko kuch aise scenes or meaningful conversations dikhani chahiye thi raghav or pallavi mein which shows how guilty raghav feels for ruining pallavi,s life

I think that Raghav mistreating Pallavi while trying to redeem himself, and having insulting nicknames on his tongue while trying to be a part of her family, would have made sense in a way, to portray how deeply ingrained his habits and prejudices are, but that would only have been watchable if the point was that he needed to make a sincere and sustained effort to fix the problems between him and the people who are important to him. Unfortunately, the story turned into Pallavi feeling sorry for Raghav, convincing Jaya to cheer for Raghav without any moral considerations, and getting into fights with everyone else for Raghav.

The makers' decisions to cut short Raghav's redemption and let him get away with everything by portraying other characters as worse (Raghav can speak abusively, but look at Vijay; Raghav can slap Kirti and drive drunk, but look at Sunny; Raghav can plot murder and send Harish to prison in his place, but look at Mandar and Lakshmi; Raghav can sneak around in adultery, but look at the other woman) made it impossible to fix the show, which always suffered from insufficient development of supporting characters and an imbalance between Raghav and Pallavi.

I totally agree that meaningful conversations were needed between the leads who have such different approaches to life and love.

Well it was not my explanation as I’ve already stated . I can’t remember the username now but this was an explanation I got from someone during the show being on air . Well I partially agreed to this view bcoz yes RR did initiate intimacy but if you notice he never went over a certain point on his own . Even during that black saree incident If you notice he went ahead to close the door ONLY after he felt that Pallavi wants it to Happen but she slept off b4 he could come back to bed . He did initiate intimacy and intended to go far but Pallavi never shown any interest except for that Yellow saree scene at the end . But that time also she did this bcuz Her Amma and Aai wanted them to start their own family that’s why . But Raghav wasn’t able to go ahead bcoz of his guilt . She never felt the urge to be with him other than that and that’s shockingly weird If you ask me . I think only after Easha came and the entire situation happened then only she understood about the intimacy part in their relationship not b4 that . Otherwise she always tried to resist someway or the other when he tried to get closer and other times it’s the situation between them which caused the distance . Except for that yellow scene we’ve never seen her being eager to get close to the man she proclaims to love the most .

Another very weird thing she did was to call Raghav her pyar aka Love which Deshmukhs including Her ex was always her responsibility and hence priority . Now by all means she was married to Raghav Rao and him

And his family should’ve been her responsibility as well along with the Deshmukhs but she even called her Ex husband her responsibility while Raghav was only the love of her life . Strange 🙄

Pallavi ke bare me toh kya kahun except initial epi,s mujhe Pallavi kya chahti hai kabhi samjh hi nahi aaya especially after their forced marriage

When raghav takes up a 30 days challenge to rectify his mistake and to give back to pallavi her family and everything then pallavi comes back home with him but does not accept him as her husband bcs jab raghav use vatsawitri ka vrat karne ke bare me qus karta hai toh wo use ans nahi deti jo ke sahi bhi tha after what he had done with her but next morning while talking with krishna she calls him bechara jab ke ek din pehle hi wo usse keh rahi thi ke mandar aisa kabhi nahi karta jaisa usne kiya tha I mean in just two days her anger vanished and after that nawab family ke order ke baad or vd ke necklace incident ke baad toh she started feeling for him all her actions were showing that she was in love with him and she knew it but jab love confession ka time aaya then she was denying it But krishna ke kehne par accept bhi kar liya after that mandar track ho ya koi or track pallavi ki feelings mujhe samjh hi nahi aayi

And you are right except esha track pallavi ne kabhi bhi uske or raghav ke relationships ko next level par le jane ke bare me nahi socha na kabhi intimacy initiate ki even whenever he tried to get close to her she always pushed him away and yes sabse weird tha ke is bar bhi amma or aai ke kehne par only family start karne ke reason ki wajah se she tried to get close to him even wo date night par bhi it was only raghav who was interested in taking their relationship to the next level pallavi was just running here and there even at that time and I dont think ke wo door close karne wala scene isliye tha that he was waiting for pallavi,s consent to move forward their relationship it was just that they forgot to lock the door of their room as usual or raghav ko bus door close karna yaad a gaya bcs romance ke time unke bedroom ka door hamesha open hi rehta tha

Farhad and Krishna were more like friend cum sibling to Raghav and Pallavi, I never saw them getting possessive over Raghav and Pallavi…whereas Vishnu wanting to stay with Mandar at Deshmukhs came of as a bit of possessiveness …Mandar was going back to his family and He did not ask Vishnu to accompany him, it was Vishnu who insisted to be with him, so there was definitely a motive there, which changed subsequently due to change in narrative…

Lol, it could be anything….Vijay gets a call, Mandar leaves, He meets with an accident, Raghav admits him in the hospital, As per Dr. Janaki he is discharged by family, Dr. Ramya finds him injured and he suffers a memory loss…so who is the family that Dr.Janaki was talking about and if she is lying then why??? But According to Ayi, she is the one who calls Mandar to meet him on his wedding night to confront about Devyani’s death, he tries to kill her but falls from a cliff and she leaves him to die and returns home as if nothing happened…doesn’t bother to tell anyone, let’s Pallavi to lead a life of a widow, even celebrates Mandar’s birthday and asks Pallavi to join even after she is married to Rahgav…They planned something when they came up with Dr.Janaki’s claim about him getting discharged by his family in Mandar Accident probe track but again they changed the narrative to him meeting Ayi when they wanted to closed the Mandar track…similarly they had something in mind to show Vishnu stay with him at Deshmukhs but again ditched the plan…the back and forth they went with the narrative in this track due to Trps pressure makes it the most illogical track…that’s why producer lost interest…he just did know how to go about his vision after he changed the narrative in the Hyderabad track…

The shift from a good father to a bad father was because of the script change in the Hyderabad track…they wanted to introduce Mandar as a positive character after revenge track that’s why he was always remembered as a noble and nice man in the initial episodes but since revenge track got replaced with Raghav’s redemption track, Pallavi who adored Mandar got changed to Pallavi did not meet Mandar and didn’t know much about him, Raghav’s betrayal due to woman got changed to Rahgav betrayed by Krishna Rao.. Ragahv Pallavi hate phase was changed to companionship and love, Entire narrative changed so Mandar had to be negative and Vijay was turned to a bad father to justify negative Mandar…

I have reviewed the episodes leading up to Mandar being alive, and here are a few details that indicate an abrupt change of plan.

June 29 episode: Sharada says to Vijay: Vijay's my-way-or-the-highway attitude was making Mandar grow distant; Vijay ruined Mandar's entire childhood; Mandar trembled at the mention of Vijay; Mandar hid behind Sharada and was terrified of Vijay's fury; and Sharada is full of rage that she couldn't do anything for Mandar.

This could have foreshadowed a Mandar-ran-away story, a child-abuse-made-Mandar-sociopathic story, or an inaccurate child-abuse-turned-Mandar-gay story.

July 6 episode: Sharada says that while Mandar was alive, Vijay never cared about him. Sulochana quietly reminds Sharada that it's not the time to talk like that.

At Mandar's birthday pūjā, Sulochana wasn't her usual spiteful self at all. Was it momentarily the plan to redeem her?

July 9 episode: Amruta says that Mandar was the world's best Dādā and she was his favourite.

So, Mandar was supposed to have a personality!

July 12 episode: Milind says that Vijay's acting out pulled Mandar in different directions, but Vijay didn't learn from it.

So, did Mandar alternate between rebellion and obedience? For example, did he come out as gay and then say he was only questioning or experimenting?

July 16 episode: Before Mandar drives Pallavi to Hyderabad, he touches the feet of Gaṇapati Bāppā on the dashboard of his ambulance, and does namaskāra.

This is totally incongruous with Raghav on July 28 saying that Mandar's blood bank colleagues called him a nāstika who never visited a mandira.

July 19 episode: Vishnu grabs Mandar's arm and calls him "Mandar." How Vishnu identifies Pallavi as the passenger in Mandar's ambulance is not explained. Vishnu tells Mandar not to talk to Pallavi because she's married and her husband will beat him.

Maybe they hadn't decided to tell us on July 21 that Mandar was known as Raja!

July 21 episode: Mandar rings the RR mansion doorbell and comes face-to-face with Pallavi, who guesses from the label on his uniform that he's from the KDSM blood bank and must be the same ambulance driver who brought her to Hyderabad that morning. The show never explains why Mandar was there (maybe Vishnu was able to tell him who Pallavi's husband was?) or why he left without saying anything. In the next episode, Vishnu admits to Raghav that his friend, not he, visited the RR mansion. So, in one day, Mandar brought Pallavi to Hyderabad by early morning, got called back to Vikarabad for an emergency, returned with Vishnu to Hyderabad and looked for Pallavi, was urged by Vishnu to get back to work in Vikarabad, and drove to Hyderabad a third time to interrupt Pallavi's late dinner!

I don't remember seeing these details discussed before, so here I go: Pallavi's dialogue telling Mandar that she's not a doctor or a therapist, and she won't be able to help him anymore, was in a precap scene at the end of the August 7, 9, 10 episodes, in which Pallavi was dressed for Maṅgalā Gaura, Mandar was wearing a royal blue shirt with a pattern inside the collar (not his dress-up clothes for Maṅgalā Gaura or the shirt he wore that day and the day after), and they were outside the front door of Deshmukh Niwas, which was decorated for Maṅgalā Gaura. However, in the August 7 episode before we ever saw this precap, the Maṅgalā Gaura was already over and it was the next morning; Pallavi was telling Mandar and Sharada her dismay that Raghav hadn't taken her with him when he left. And when Pallavi actually spoke the dialogue to Mandar in the August 14 episode, they were in the hospital waiting room while Sharada was recovering from surgery.

What I infer is this: they shot scenes of Pallavi being convinced to break her oath to Vijay and leave Deshmukh Niwas for Raghav's sake, Pallavi telling Mandar her decision before he got dressed up, and Pallavi and Raghav agreeing to leave the Maṅgalā Gaura together (maybe after they almost kissed, interrupted by Amruta, and blur), and that's why Pallavi's dialogues the morning after included "without taking me with him?" The plot might have been that Mandar, knowing that Pallavi was about to leave him, intended to disorient Raghav with something that Dr. Ramya had prescribed for him, but accidentally sedated Pallavi. However, when the creative team decided to wrap up the Mandar-makes-Raghav-and-Pallavi-fight track and jump into the why-isn't-Mandar-in-jail-yet track, they cut those scenes. Having the idea that Sharada would find a powdered drug under Mandar's mattress and he would try to kill her, they re-shot Mandar's Maṅgalā Gaura daytime scenes so that he got a drug from Sunny to use on Raghav. In their hurry, they may have accidentally put Mandar in his shirt for the awards ceremony day instead of the Maṅgalā Gaura day.

Who knows how the editing team decides what scenes to cut! When Raghav gave Pallavi the check for Rs. 5 lakh and told her to get lost, his line that she had to leave Hyderabad was missing from the scene, and we only found out this detail in Pallavi's flashback to the scene later in that same episode.

The July 16 episode was Mandar's first appearance alive on screen, and by August 7 we knew that the track was being changed somehow due to some sort of viewer backlash. If they were shooting two weeks ahead of airing, and maybe rewriting, reshooting, and editing still takes a week, the original Maṅgalā Gaura August 6 episode including the Pallavi-can't-help-Mandar dialogue was probably shot around July 22, the day they aired Mandar's first dialogues with Pallavi and Raghav at Dr. Ramya's clinic, and it was rewritten (with one of the cut scenes repurposed as a precap) no later than July 30, the day we saw Raghav chasing Pallavi to Vikarabad and back. So, how much viewer backlash did they actually get before they changed the track?

I don't think this has been discussed before ...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGA3Ka9Baq8

Supreet Nikam, the actor who played Vishnu, said in an interview on July 23, 2021 (starting around 17:23 mark), that we would see a love track for Vishnu! That was what he had been told to expect, and he didn't think it would change.

He also said that (starting around 20:58 mark) that we would see the bonding between Raghav - er - Mandar and Vishnu as "next level."

And he said (starting around 25:33 mark) that yes, with Mandar's entry a love triangle is predictable, but there would be a twist.
