Sai and Shivangi hopefully will get better PHs after this show ends. They deserve all the praise for the hard work they have put in to bring these characters to life.

True that. I'm slightly concerned about Sai though. He has that accent in his Hindi which I absolutely love btw and which makes Raghav so real and such an authentic character in my eyes. However, it might be an issue if he's going for non-South Indian characters that are expected to be fluent in Hindi on screen. IDK if memorizing the script is enough in these cases but I really really hope he and Shivangi gets better projects in future. They've both earned it.

The differences I see are 1) Raghav actually was in love with E at one point in his life 2) R + E "slept" with each other 3) E is more delulu vibes than Mandar psycho murderer vibes 4) P never pushed R away - the separation happened more unintentionally.

Other than that, the overall tracks are similar. Spouse A feels guilt bc they have a better life or moved on better than their ex did => guilt trip by ex ensues => Spouse A pushes (intentionally or unintentionally) spouse B away / MUs ensue=> Spouse B suspects the ex => ex plans revealed

@bold:- Yup the template seems to be the same. They are just changing the names now. Earlier it was Pallavi who was feeling bad for Mandar and now it is Raghav who will feel bad for Esha. I think the ONS stand was also to make Raghav feel guilty and thereby increasing the MUs between Pallavi and Raghav. I feel as if they are going to show in the end how Pallavi suspected this and then it will all be revealed that nothing happened and Raghav was not at fault.

Plus if you see - after the initial hiccups Raghav and Pallavi were close, laughing teasing and being all touchy touchy with each other. The only reason they had the dialogue of having a chota Raghav or chota Pallavi was to bring in the guilt of Raghav. He was so heart broken when he saw Amma and Aayi pulling their legs. He wanted the marriage to be accepted by both the families and now that he has the happiness his mistake is weighing him down. A typical ITV viewer who is a trp contributor would be like - ah bechara he is so guilty he can't even enjoy the good moments with his wife. That is what the creatives are trying to go for here.

@bold:

Nahhh too many other ITV shows have shown honeymoon phase / intimacy - i don't think its a problem with the audience at all. They just did a better job of weaving into the existing story line. No show really focuses JUST on that but they know how to bring it into the episodes. MHRW is capable of it - they just choose not to.

U know itv shows main sab chalta hai. No South Indian ever gets the accent right.

That's ok if he has the thick south Indian accent but knowing Sai we don't need to worry. He won't opt for a normal itv show.

He's very serious about his work and he will really get any kind of work in telugu industry or web. Shivi is picture made for itv and she'll make it big here (don't think she will fret so much about the story though).

Fria what do u mean by dark and closeups? I need to rewatch to understand what you're pointing at

MHRW has rural Indian audience? I guess I always assumed it had a different audience base which is why it never did well in TRPs.

I like how your views on certain things give me a different perspective Sharada

I think the directors wanted him to retain the accent for this character. If you see his normal IVs he can speak normal hindi fluently. His Marathi is also really good. He can change the accent, I feel with some practice. But somehow I feel he might go into web series and OTT side - His next venture is on Amazon Prime

The BARC trps come majorly from rural India - All of the urban population they usually watch on Hotstar in the morning itself. The TRPs that come are mostly of people who watch the show at the air time and I am positive urban people don't have time to watch MHRW at the air time of 6:30PM.

Can I just say.

I love the positivity in this AT in general.

Even three-four episodes back, we were lighting up candles and doing yoga and breaking our heads and screens and whatnot over the show but two less non-cringe episodes and look at us. 😆

IDK how to describe it. Maybe it was a filter they used - but you could tell the most when they were at RR mansion. It was more dimly lit, less bright, the colors looked more saturated. And the camera used to be much more smaller frame - like it would be less background and more focused on their face/upper half of body.

Maybe Ru can shed some light on it bc she's also rewatching. Sharada are you rewatching yet? Maybe I'm just being delulu bc of my love of the earlier episodes. 🤣
