I have actually come to dislike this question. He is an introvert. I am an introvert too and there are people I've never spoken to in my office even if we are a few seats away. I understand when he says he cannot open up. People and shippers especially need to back off. These are two individuals who are putting their best foot forward to get us an episode. They're both also introverts. Shivangi is awkward on social media too. How do people expect them to be best buddies when they've just met? They may never be best buds. Who cares? Really, if co stars can just be allowed to work together professionally, that is enough.

Plus now that they're both becoming famous, they'll need to really draw their boundaries with fan interaction otherwise it becomes detrimental to one's career esp when fans are jodi shippers. Till RaghVi it's fine but SaiShi? Really...give me a break 😆

I know, you can see him almost dreading those questions. Bechara kitni baar bolega introvert hai, leave him alone. By now all interviewers should know this about him. Find some other questions to ask. 😔

I don't like seeing him feel that unease, and interviewers, usually being extroverts, should be mindful of such things.

Also, why ask him if he is less shy than before? Shyness isn't like losing weight, it doesn't go away after a few days or weeks or months, in some cases never. I kind of find this insensitive. People have different personalities ... Does anyone ask extroverts if they lose their outgoing nature and shut down after a few months? No. Then why ask him this? Ugh...

Rant over.

Right. Besides, who said co-stars need to be best friends or even hang out with one another off-screen? Just like we aren't buddies with all our co-workers and aren't pressured to be, why should they be? Their life, their choice.

Social media has made it easier for people to be nosy but sometimes it's infringing on people's privacy.

They are here to do the job and their performance on screen is all we should focus on.

I agree with this.

There is a very unhealthy obsession I've seen, quite specific to ITV. About co actors and jodi's. It's like people have this notion in their minds that if two people are lovers on screen, they must be lovers off screen. There are pages and pages dedicated to push this notion. It's all over ITV and I find this to be extremely toxic and certainly heights of being delusional. Unfortunately, it's like all this comes with ITV package. Can't wait for the day when ITV shifts to better formats like weekly or limited series etc. Besides, daily shooting shows it's effects after a year when actors look so sleep deprived, you feel sorry for them.

Coming back to the topic, I hope both of them manage to keep all this nonsense at bay 😎

Actually I don't find the question wrong ..no one is asking if they are lovers ..its a simple working relationship and they only ask what they do to make the chemistry come out so well as so actors. Simple canned answer that we both are professionals and friends is good enough. Always appreciate the other actor thats all that is needed

Frankly Sai Ketan himself attracts attention by being shy around the question and constantly mentioning how he stays away from other co stars . He comes across as overtly obsessed with his own work when he says I only talk to directors and fans . There is a team and crew working with him which he needs to acknowledge and appreciate. Maybe he does well on set but he doesn't portray himself like that in interviews ...and that draws attention phaltu ka.

This is an expected question at interviews.with all actors so I don't see why reporters should make special effort to not ask him. No one is asking him if he likes Shivangi in real life.!!!.lol..so why so awkward on that. Simple canned professional answer is enough .

I agree with it! Fans are obsessed with their offscreen life more than that of onscreen! He really shared good bonding with kirti n farhad offscreen n of course there should be a limited no of episodes of series. Actors life is very hectic.

Exactly they should keep focused on their work leaving all nonsense behind. Wishing them good luck for their future career.

If u have a good onscreen chemistry..the 1st thing come in mind is their off screen chemistry...no.issues.with that..they should conduct interviews in combine..it will promote their show.

And no harm.to give an interview or to be friendly with ur co star..even getting friendly never raise questions in any one's mind..but being shy or avoiding those questions always raise suspicions...

I used to follow many shows in past and i always enjoy co.stars off screen bonding jokes and interviews..

So they must work on this..its the start of theor carear

Its 'normal' but not an expectation. Or it shouldnt be. At the end of the day an actor is still an employee. Its their profession. In our daily professions do we get along with everyone we work with or if we do, do we bond so closely with them or show everyone that we bond well? Its not necessary and thats the point not everyone is the same and just because other actors do it it shouldnt be expected that sai shivangi do it also. I too hope we get interviews as a fan but i dont like forcing them to change themselves for others. Thats not right either. They are clearly reserved people, especially sai. Shivangi at least bol bhi deti hai openly but sai is shy and thats just who he is. So why make him uncomfortable? Eventually he will learn as he continues to work but this tv platform life is new and a huge adjustment to expect actors to pick up immediatly. For us its simple but we also have to think saishi have only been working together for less than 4 months. That really is NOT that lon in retrospect.

Absolutely. My point also is that this question has been asked already a few times, and they have answered it. Why harp on? When they want to do IVs they will. As it is, getting scenes filmed and making up episode banks while state-hopping is a big challenge in these COVID times. I applaud them for just making this happen in the first place.

I think that's the distinction people need to make. Some actors love it and they will do all sorts of BTS and other activities. Good for them, their life, their choice.

Also, these shows last only a period of time and then people move on to other projects. Not all these off screen friendships last forever, they are temporary moments of bonding due to being together for 12+ hours a day.

Toxic is the right word. People forget it's just acting at the end of the day, that's the point. They are NOT meant to or expected to be the same on screen as off screen.

lol. He is very calm and composed to be honest. Bechara logs in happily to give interview and then you get this type of qs about Shivangi, her interview, her pictures with you..whatever..Ask him about his childhood or what he enjoys as hobbies. Does he like cricket? who's his favourite star..etc..Which city he would love to visit etc?
