Concept & Story of Meet Mila De Rabba
The show, is about a vivacious, bubbly young Punjabi girl Geet, who due to extenuating circumstances gets married to a "Kirpaan" to save her from the wrath of society. She marries the 'Kirpan' without even catching a glimpse of her husband, a ritual typical to the traditions of Interior Punjab.She marries the 'kirpan' not knowing what is in store for her… how is her husband? How will their relationship be? Will he ever accept her as his wife?

Gyaniji saves Lajoji's life. Subedar gets emotional about Lajoji trying to commit suicide & she breaksdown saying that she cant bear to see her bubbly & vivacious daughter as a widow. Gyaniji & Subedar comfort her saying that she as a mother has to be Geet's support & strength. Lajoji breaks down reaches the mazaar & breaksdown in front of Baba for not helping Geet by predicting about the untoward incident. She walks off saying that she wont ever forgive Baba for not stopping this. Just then the dead groom's parents reach Geet's house & offer that Geet should marry their older son whose wife has passed away 2 yrs ago leaving behind 3 motherless children. Channi Chachi is ecstatic & jumps at the offer. Subedar is non commital. Geet is shocked.

Subedar is weeping profusely. Bebe comforts Gyaniji & tells him that Geet was destined to go through all. Lajoji is not in the right state of mind & keeps telling everybody that Geet's dowry needs to be sent to her in laws. Gyaniji handles the situation & calls for a Dr. Geet is in a daze & doesnt speak a word, still dressed as a bride. Channi Chachi drags Geet out of the house & under the pretext of rituals removes all her jewellery & covers her with a white dupatta thereby declaring her a widow. Lajoji is unable to see her daughter go through this & attempts suicide & jumps in a flowing river.

The groom is rushed to the hospital. Geet is in a state of shock & storms off suddenly. Channi Chachi questions Lajoji whether Geet had a lover in the past. The Dr informs everybody that his condition is critical. The Granthi ridicules the act of firing gun shots on a wedding, which has led to the untoward incident. Geet goes to meet Baba but cant find him, she breaksdown at the mazaar & prays for the well being of her groom. The Baba punishes himself by walking on the ambers. Gyaniji, Subedar arrive along with the groom's corpse. All are shattered to learn that the groom is no more. Geet goes to touch the corpse but is stopped by the groom's Dada & father. They ridicule her for being a bad omen in their son's life which has taken his life. Gyaniji requests them not to blame Geet but to no avail & they constantly hurl abuses at Geet & take the dead body away & we charge to a shocked Geet.

Gyaniji prays for Geet's wedding at the Golden Temple. Channi Chachi is introduced amidst Geet's wedding preparations & is welcomed by Geet's parents Subedar & Lajoji. Geet's sisters Preeto & Dolly are introduced. Dolly is practising 'Gidda' for the wedding. Bebe is waiting along with Hamroo & Tarshem for the arrival of Gyaniji. Geet is missing from home as she has gone to meet Gyaniji. Sukhi & Gyaniji bump into Geet & ask her for a lift. Geet drops Gyaniji mid way as she stops by the mazaar to meet Baba. Geet questions Baba about her to be husband but he is non commital. Lajoji, Subedar share an emotional moment with Geet since it is her last night at her parents home. The baraat has arrived. All are singing & dancing & welcome the baraatis. Amidst gun firing shots, there is a jaimala between Geet & the groom. As the groom is about to put the mala, he is hit by a hit gun shot & collapses. All are stunned.
