Angad Hasija, who became an overnight sensation as Alekh of producer Rajan Shahi's Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai, was later seen in Siddharth Kumar Tewary's Phulwa and Zee TV's Ram Milaayi Jodi opposite Sara Khan (his co-star from Bidaai).
And the good news is that he is back to doing what he does best - acting. The actor, we hear, is prepping up to play the male lead in Film Farm's next on Life OK. Film Farm is currently producing popular daily soap Uttaran on Colors starring Tina Dutta. Their new show on Life OK will feature Riddhi Dogra (last seen in Maryaada - Lekin Kab Tak?) and actor Krip Suri.
Informs a source from the production house, ""We are keen on casting Angad Hasija, who happens to be our first and last choice to play the role. This show is different from other regular family dramas airing on the tube currently. The protagonist of the show will be seen hunting for her missing husband. Angad will not play the lost husband but the man who will help the female lead find him.
The actor is expected to sign on the dotted line soon."" Angad remained unavailable for comment.
