I think he pushed her into the water to make her realise what is actually feels like being close to death and that she should value her life. Also maybe because he is angry at her as he thinks she is trying to commit suicide again. I have a strong feeling that he will save her..

now i have strong feeling too that he will save her. and i want see all that today. and thanks for the reply to the post.
