Now that we've heard Baby's thoughts while Savi hugged him and Krishna'i invited him to pray, and he asked, "Koṇa Miss Vaśilā?" should we conclude that he's not Arjun?

What will happen as Savi grows suspicious that Baby isn't Arjun? Will there be talk of locating Kamalya Bailat for a DNA test? Since Vishvambhar introduced Krishna'i to Baby only as Arjun's stepmother, will Baby think that he needs to prove that he's Arjun the half-brother of Vidyadhar, Balaram, and Priya? Will Baby come up with a pretext for Priya to submit a DNA sample, and run a DNA test against himself, and when he is about to tamper with the results to convince everyone that they're half-siblings, will he see that they are actually full siblings?

Vishvambhar's flashback to Balaram's birth, in which we heard both sides of Bhalachandra's phone conversation with Pradip, established that Bhalachandra wanted to give his own son to Bhima. I have speculated that in spite of Krishna and Vishvambhar seeing her baby before Bhalachandra did, it will be revealed that Bhalachandra raised his own son by Krishna as his favourite Arjun, and Balya Bailat became the family disgrace, Balaram.

Now, assuming that Baby is Arjun's long-lost twin, how could he have been stolen at birth from Krishna'i? I could believe that Parvati Bailat gave birth to twins Balya and Baby before she died, and someone rescued one of them from being raised (sold) by Kamalya. Krishna'i, on the other hand, would have known that she delivered twins ... Vishvambhar was with her, and Vidyadhar was playing outside.

Or, will all of the proofs that Baby isn't Arjun be forgotten with the next plot twist, the way we have to accept Vidyadhar as Vishvambhar's mastermind after we heard Vishvambhar thinking that Vidyadhar would doubt Savitri being Divakar's sister? The way we have to forget that Vidyadhar knows that Pankaj knows he ordered a hit on Arjun and the bullet hit Savi?

Vidyadhar looks very foolish. He has the pistol that he used to shoot Arjun. Instead of wiping off his own fingerprints and getting Savi's fingerprints on it, and letting forensics determine that the bullet wounds in Arjun's clothes came from that pistol, why is he spending time and money training Baby and murdering Baby?

Vidyadhar acknowledges that Baby is only trained to recognize people from their photographs, but instead of the logical conclusion that Baby's pretense must end quickly, before he slips up, Vidyadhar reaches the opposite conclusion that they need to give Baby time to get used to living Arjun's life.

Why is Krishna'i telling Arjun to forget the past and reconnect with God? When was Arjun anything other than devout? He performed a pūjā on every festival day, never letting Balaram take his place. He didn't superstitiously believe in Vishvamitra jī Mahārāja's well-water prophecy, but he always treated the holy man with respect and even accepted his command to protect the unknown Khopade heir.

The writers either think their audience is stupid or has dementia..... why do we have to ignore/forget important scenes like they didnt exist....then why show them in the first place ??

Am still wondering why Pankaj has not told Arjun and Savi about the conversation between Vidya n Balrm that he overheard.....

This makes me think that Pankaj is also an unrevealed mastermind...

Indraneil gets to portray another dimension of his acting skills....can see only this positive with 'baby' in the storyline.....and he is doing a good job....

Any time show makers show the lead dead, the show gets worse. There's a point of no return and they've gone beyond it now.

If Baby had done an internet search on Arjun Kavathekar, the man whom he was supposed to impersonate, he couldn't have missed the news that Arjun was arrested for the murder of Manali.

It's ludicrous that the police interrogation took Baby by surprise.

Note to self:

When hiring an actor to impersonate a rich person, take the time to train the actor in the expected skills, such as driving a car.

The Kavathekars employ a driver, at least to transport Vidyadhar. Why would Baby need to go running all over town?

Baby's gratitude to Krishna'i is an unexpected plot twist. I wonder if she'll need a heart transplant around the time Vidyadhar frames Savi for murdering Baby, and tissue typing will reveal that Baby is a match. Someone will find it suspicious that her match was a non-relative who resembled her stepson so closely. After some DNA testing, Vidyadhar will realize too late that Arjun and Baby were his full brothers, and he killed both of them, thinking that they were nobody to him.

Wait, Vishvambhar off-handedly decided to let Krishna'i die? What does anyone stand to gain, when Savi owns the property and the villains only get handouts because Krishna'i cares for them and believes they took Vidyadhar hostage? Why wouldn't Vishvambhar keep his heinous plot to himself until it succeeded? Wouldn't it occur to him that maybe Vidyadhar and Balaram don't want their mother killed?

Why can't Krishna'i hedge her bets? Go to the hospital in case her heart trouble can be treated there, and wait there for Arjun to bring the take-home medicine to her? How does she know that her heart trouble doesn't have complications this time?

If Arjun had had a dog, it would have been the dog who knew right away that Baby wasn't Arjun.

There being no dog on Piratīçā Vanavā Urī Peṭalā, I was thinking that the character who sniffs out the impersonator should be Priya.

Arjun doesn't indulge Priya or hug her back ... he snaps at her instead of sternly saying no ... he delivers dialogue instead of furious punches to the man who touched his sister ... he slaps faces instead of kicking groins (shoutout to Bhaiyu) ... Priya should immediately know that this isn't Arjun!

Instead of telling Baby how Arjun used to behave differently than he behaves now, and asking him, Dādā, tū kharaṃça māzhā Arjuna Dādā āhesa nā? Priya should be wary of him.

Now, I want to know the behind-the-scenes story of why there's so much nose-touching on Piratīçā Vanavā Urī Peṭalā. I never noticed it, and I believe it wasn't a habit of any character, until Manali began to say what she would do and she would flick her nose as punctuation. Then Savi and Arjun acquired the habit of touching their noses to show intensity. However, Priya swatting Arjun's nose on Wednesday's show is the first time, I think, that the nose belongs to someone other than the person touching it. What is the director trying to tell us?

Ram Daund (Vishvambhar) is doing some intense physical acting! Getting kicked in the stomach repeatedly by Arjun in Vishvambhar's dream, and falling backward ... dangling his feet as if Arjun is really holding him up in the air to strangle him ... rolling over the ledge while hiding from police ...

Balaram has enough information to guess that Vishvambhar went to a hotel in Pune to find Arjun, but instead, Balaram immediately assumed that Vishvambhar went there for a prostitute. It's funny because that's Balaram's habit and he's judging Vishvambhar for it simply because Vishvambhar got caught. And after Balaram's insensitive commentary drove Mona to tears, she snapped at Shali for innocently asking if it was that kind of hotel - the straw that broke the camel's back!

Vidyadhar questioned whether all of this was happening or being made to happen. We too can guess:

1. Someone told Phadake to say that he saw Arjun in Pune.

2. Someone gave Inspector Shivaram a ring that Baby pretended to recognize as his own (Arjun's) - but did Savi or any family member confirm that Arjun wore such a ring?

3. Someone was waiting for Vishvambhar to arrive at the hotel, and whether the raid was real or fake, the plan was to entrap and arrest Vishvambhar.

4. Someone may have convinced Krishna'i to forbid Mona to ask Arjun and Savitri to bail Vishvambhar. It may be the plan that Savitri will go to Pune.

Is it Arjun's plan? Or Savi's? Dipu's? Çamaki's? It makes sense that Arjun would want Savitri to come to him, especially if he knows that Baby has taken his place as her husband.

The plot is now even more ridiculously convoluted and farfetched. Baby is working for Savi and only pretending to work for Vishvambhar and Balaram.

How do the May 9-10 episodes make sense now? Savi told Phadake to leave her and "Arjun" alone in the office to talk. Baby asked Savi not to suspect that he had gone to Pune. Savi said she had a lot of questions about how much he had changed; he wouldn't have tolerated anyone harassing Priya, or Priya going missing; is he hiding anything? Baby repeated, she should believe that he didn't go to Pune. The scene ended with Phadake eavesdropping. So, were Savi and Baby just putting on a performance for Phadake? Why would Savi take the risk of Phadake exposing Baby before she could identify the mastermind?

There have been earlier scenes that also don't match the Baby-works-for-Savi narrative.

Alone with Çamaki, why would Savi cry so much about Arjun not remembering "Miss Vaśilā," if Savi knew he was an imposter and didn't want Çamaki to suspect that anything was wrong with him?

Alone with Dipu, why would Savi tell him that he must have seen someone other than Arjun hugging Balaram? Wouldn't she bluff that Arjun wants peace now?

When Baby was alone with Savi, and both were frantic to find Krishna'i's doctor's phone number, why would Baby lie to Savi about "his" phone falling in the river if he knew that she knew he wasn't Arjun? Wouldn't Savi feel furious that Baby was distracting her from a life-or-death emergency? Why would Savi let Baby go looking for the doctor's clinic, knowing that the streets were unfamiliar to him?

When Savi called Baby to meet with Khanvilkar, why would Baby think he had a choice to stay with Priya instead of performing Arjun for Khanvilkar? Why would Savi tell Baby that he could say no, and then let him say yes? Did she want him to fool Khanvilkar or not?

How could the flashbacks to Savi meeting Baby be true?

Savi, who was so overcome with grief that she couldn't hold her phone, immediately drove to Kolhapur without her driver, unaccompanied by any family members or local police. She identified the dead body as Arjun, but instead of taking it back to the family for last rites, she interfered with two homicide investigations, minimizing Arjun's murder as only an attempt and allowing Inspector Shivaram to waste his time questioning Baby about Manali.

Savi met Baby by chance, chased him, located him, and asked him if he wanted to become a hero. Why? Did she counterintuitively predict that whoever had killed Arjun was itching to bring him back to life for some further plot? Yet Savi didn't even tell Baby that Arjun used to call her Miss Vaśilā.

Savi stayed in Kolhapur long enough to tell Baby that she had seen him tyā divaśī - not kāla - and yet there was time for Vishvambhar to meet Baby, bring Balaram over to train him, and arrange the surprise for Arjun's 13th day. Couldn't that time have been used to grow Baby's beard and hair to match Arjun's style?

Despite knowing that Vishvambhar and Balaram are covering up Arjun's murder, Savi hasn't turned them over to the police for torture to reveal the mastermind. She has Dipu spying on Balaram with Shali and making a video, and yet they don't seem aware of Vishvambhar's and Balaram's frequent consultations and confrontations with Vidyadhar, right there in Bhima Sadan.
